I’ve been to Germany many times (I live in The Netherlands myself), and I won’t claim I am 100% familiar with their laws. But I am 100% sure that if I called a random German Hamtaro, I wouldn’t really get in any trouble. Stop making things up, dude. =P
If you call a random person hamtaro and it isnt his name YOU denie his Existence cause a name is what makes us not numbers but persons and calling a person another name then his own he can say “´i feel denied and insulted” he can even say he had bad experiences with a hamtaro and such stuff.
That doesnt matter…you have the DUTY to call a person by her name as long as she didnt allow you to adress her by another name.
In germany there where allready ppl jailed cause they denied the existence of ppl.
