As far as I understand from what they said before, they made agreements with many eastern publishers that helped them develop the game. This was before deciding to release the game on Steam. LUG is a recent deal and included this possibility in the agreement. They can’t change anything anymore because they already invested that money.

maybe, MAYBE, the brazilian server won’t be ip blocked, as it won’t be through Steam. Maybe it will be playable like kToS (unnoficial translation pack).

I would trust IMC however, if they hold the rights to manage the server, all the content inside, its your best hope.

Well, I played CBT2, enjoyed it, looked forward to playing with with a group of friends, and now I’m not going to play TOS because of the X2/OMG bullshit.

I’ve been burnt by OMG TERA, and I’m not playing or supporting anything that has to do with OMG.

Please IMC, get a good publisher on board for the European release. NCSoft would come to mind. I am sure they would be willing to take you under their wings.

I hope they will do better survey before finding a publisher at EU. a lesson here is already telling the IMC groups, don’t simply choose a publisher from a region if they do not know the company history. a company can give a good profile in front of the conversation but they cannot hide the facts which replied feedback from players. nothing can be cheated thru player responses.

i hope IMC really take serious on their decision even contract could be signed with X2 (OMG daughter company). find a way to sue the company if they tried hangkie-bangkie. this way is the best way to defend customer rights.

Not really sure, if thats true that only reason is IMC also WANT TO RUIN TOS in a fast way, bring the most epic evil publisher ever seen into contract.

We are only pretending IMC is innocent

Let just hope that is not true, develping a game and dump all the cost as wasted does no fun at all.

They care how to earn the biggest money in the shortest time.
We don’t mind to paid for a reasonable price every month for subscription but we don’t want to be blocked away from the international server NOR playing under X2GAME/OMG / any local publisher

IMC, we need clarification. Who will be managing the game & the in-game cash shop? You or X2Game? Will it just be like LevelUP where you handle everything while they host the servers & handle the localization or…?

This is a terrible announcement, I won’t be playing ToS because of this.
