Yeah, the CGI in the Beserk movies are kind of weird and hard to watch, especially at parts when it gets choppy.
I never watched it, but seeing some of the animation it’s kind of rough…I’ve just never liked trigger’s style
Heh, guess I’ll watch it then, though I do hope no one spots me watching it.
I’d be sure to get weird looks
If you like Gurren Lagan, I think you should like Kill La Kill.
Let us know what you think.
Does anyone here already know which anime they’re going to watch coming out during the summer season? I have so many.
I’m just going to watch everything I see! Meaning I’ll have a lot to watch for the first few weeks, but I’m sure I 'll be dropping the ones that don’t exactly match my taste :))
Oh nice.
I have a hard time dropping something after I started watching it, so I try to pick out the best ones because I can’t bring myself to watch all of them… I’ve probably missed out on some gems because of that, too.
Same happens to me, it’s pretty hard dropping something after i start watching it, even if it’s not all that good .-. i just like watching things to the end.
Based on this list
I’m interested to watch Gangsta (the manga is badass), Overlord (Also a badass manga), Aquarion Logos (Recently I’ve been in love with mecha), Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite Kaku Tatakeri (Interesting characters), Rokka no Yuusha, God Eater (I’m a fan of the game).
Stay away from Aquarion, believe me.
Overlord is pretty sweet. It’s a pretty refreshing take on the “stuck in a game” genre. Also, having the MC be a classic Bad Guy is neat as well.
I simply can’t get bored watching a badass OP MC, that’s why Overlord’s probably going to be my favourite next season.
@Shiro what about Aquarion? Is it not good?
I have many problems with the most recent Satelight’s CG techniques, plus the old director of the series (who also directed Macross Frontier and is an awesome mecha designer) won’t be working on this project.
The one directing it will be the old storyboarder of the series that was responsible for directing the recent Nobunaga the Fool (and damn that was bad…like really bad).
I think I’ll still try to watch some episodes to decide whether it’s worth my time or not.
Just watch the first Aquarion + Macross Frontier + Super Robot Taisen: The inspectors for your mecha fix. And the cool songs of course:
@_@" anime on crack =V so much randomness
anime: girls und panzer
song:.ganbare! robocon!
I have so much anime downloaded on my harddrive that I haven’t watch yet, and am too lazy to watch them. I’m just happy enough that I’ve read their LN version.
I’m pretty excited not just for Overlord, but also for this announcement too, because I enjoy the LN and even donated for translation of the LN, and that the fact that the manga adaptation for it was very well made. If the manga is well made, there should be a fair expectations that the anime adaptation should be well made too =D
I usually download a ton of different shows, watch them, then delete it all when it’s over
…otherwise I would have no space in my hard drive right now!!
I have over a 100 burn dvd of anime I’ve downloaded over the years. These days, I invest in portable hard-drive for my anime instead XD
I like to download them, because I hate waiting on buffering time when watching, the quality is not guarantee to be high base on where you stream it, but most importantly, during internet connect lost or blackouts, I have anime to watch. Unfortunately I stop purchasing manga because it has became such an expensive hobby to keep up with. These days, I purchase eBook instead.
