It literally NEVER ends.

Once again, out of nowhere IMC randomly announces in-game that they will be starting the maintenance an additional THREE hours early. I guess at this point they realize that their servers erupt into raging flames and crash about 2 hours before every maintenance so this will atleast look planned.

So anyone that planned on logging on today before the maintenance to get their dailies in is out of luck, just like half of us who lost all our dungeons and missions for 2 days after the last maintenance, I still never recieved any compensation for that even though I submitted a ticket and started the thread on it day1. IMC randomly picked people to mail reset vouchers to, well done as always.

Now we get to wait 8 hours, atleast…to see what they manage to break this week as the ITT-tech interns go back under the hood. I really hope everyone is excited for the new event too, cant wait to get forced back into groups with people like we were during Halloween. Remember those good times, the people that said “fk your xp, im just here for Brown Tini Horns and am gonna rush the last boss anyways”.

Super pumped to get fallen legwyn family dungeon cubes full of Turn Leather Tunics and talt for the next month. Awesome job as always IMC, keep it up.

They havent even clarified things especially from the previous event if the cookies will be deleted. This new event also has cookies and not sure how it will work now. No dailies before maintenance.

As far as I know, the cookies will not expire, only the ability to get more outside of the new event…

It has been posted since yesterday that the maintenance period is 3hrs early.

Guess this is your fault for not reading carefully.

Lets have faith on them. 3 hours more downtime for a % chance for this maintenance not to get â– â– â– â– â– â–  up. Im putting my faith this time imc.

Ya, the last time in 4 hours they managed to turn off the 6 am reset feature for half our character’s dungeons and missions. Giving the ITT Tech interns 8 hours to experiment should be amusing, someone should find and necro the old wheel of bug thread wed do every maintenance to place bets on the new bugs.

Its your fault for believing that it was posted yesterday, this is another NINJA EDIT by IMC, similar to 2 weeks ago when they extended the maintenance to 6am and did not announce it, they simply ninja edited the maintenance times in the news section.

It wasn’t ninja edited. It was your excuse because you are at fault for not reading it carefully. I got my whole guild to back me up at this one because the moment it posted, someone already said “Wow, the maintenance is 3hours early, I wonder what will they break this time!”

I bet you need friends to help you read or something, rude jerk.

That would be solved if there were in-game an auto shout warning system announcing maintenance starting in X hours or minutes, this stuff is in lots of games and even private servers of this games.

But even pet AI is a mess, won’t expect that kind of system never xD

i can confirm that the patch notes yesterday did say 21:00-05:00. one of my friends notice it and posted in on our discord channel.

@jchsc32 they did announce the maintenance timing the moment they post the patch information yesterday. No where did I see the maintenance got bumped an additional 3 hours.

Perhaps you are too used to the 4-5 hrs of maintenance.

Well even if they did state it later on, it was initially not that long.
I believe they should rather state the long duration first and then post if the server opens earlier than anticipated, similar to how it was handled by Shanda for Dragon Nest EU.

This would avoid creating confusion and bad/mixed feelings about the maintenance. Also, you could prepare better since it’s one time for all servers, and while it’s basically in the night for the U.S. and Europe, it’s the bright day for SEA, Oceania, etc.
People losing their dungeon runs etc. isn’t that much of a catastrophy, but as I said it’s a “drop in the bucket” that makes some people earlier or later shift to other games or stop online gaming altogether, especially if they didn’t “invest” into the game (I mean $$$, not time).

As preparing schedules is a part of customer service, it should be in IMCs best interest to not provide more reasons to get angry at IMC/TOS, at least that’s my opinion. They at least try a little more currently by discontinuing the Goddess Blessed Cubes from the Cash shop and sending out GMs to hunt some bots/afk farmers,
but at least the feeling that this game is bad wasn’t relieved from me (yeah Sadhu on main causing freezes and client crashes doesn’t really enrage me anymore, but it hurts as other classes can be played without these problems from my account/client).

Let’s just hope we get less bugs and more fixes than stated [double crossed fingers on that; I bet 2x Blessing will not be fixed unless another bug is introduced instead]…

true. if my friends didn’t notice it, i wouldn’t know, too. well, i rarely read patch notes unless its a major update. xD
sad thing is they only give notice in-game exactly 60minutes before the maintenance.

we can’t really compare imc to other game company now. this company i think is really lacking employees. the forum is pretty much in chaos because imc just lack communication to its players. i think that won’t change anytime soon.

I know right, imagine a system that shows a shout in huge gold letters in front of the screen and in bright red on the chat window and have that message pop up every 10 min starting the hour before the maint…

I can also confirm the maintenance post always said it would start at 21:00. I was about to go to bed when the update alert popped up through steam, saw the early maint times and decided to keep going for a few more hours since I wouldn’t be able to play much before maint hit the next day.

You can be disappointed that maintenance is earlier this week, but don’t act like IMC cheated you somehow because you didn’t check the timeframe and assumed it would be later.
