An Intermediate Guide to Clerics

  1. Exo applies a debuff which damages targets affected as a dot. Magnus only needs the exo tile to be there in order to cast a whole new other skill on top of it, so they do stack (for those targets hit by exo before you cast and then stay in magnus range once it’s cast). Just be careful because exo has a number of maximum targets it can hit before vanishing given by its level, and magnus can’t be cast if there’s no exo tile present.

  2. Fanaticism is a simple damage buff. Whenever activated, all your own skills/AAs will do (1+fanaticism%+same tier modifiers %) times damage. It just doesn’t affect summons damage, they are considered separate entities from yourself.

  3. In the first few posts of this guide thread you can find Chaplain build templates and skill allocation reasoning. But imo, I agree with you. I don’t see much reason to compete against pardoner’s even though their buffs are potentially weaker. i’d just invest some DEX/INT and focus on priest’s survival kit + aspersium + exo.

I don’t expect us to get a respec on the 26th tbh, since maintenance should start at 00:00 of the respective servers.

They could code it in so that the npc will still give 1 after the maintenance, but I doubt IMC will put in the effort.

@Kertes:

  1. Yep, Exorcise’s debuffs will still tick while ME is active.
Just keep in mind that it uses up it’s tile in the process so a lvl 5 exorcise can have 4 debuffs active and still be used for ME in that case.
Low priority in terms of enhance.

  2. It buffs all your dmg dealt by x%, should be a tier1 buff so it’s additive with most other dmg buffs.
Like all dmg buffs it works for dmg dealt by you when it is active, so FI>F works, but does not work for minions, added property dmg or bonus dmg.

  3. There’s no real winning skill distribution on a spr priest tbh, already posted about it a few times.
You can cut out blessing and focus on Sacrament for Last Rites Scaling, vica versa or just ignore both and go for the other defensive skills.
Int has an edge up there imo.

Hmm, changing the skill rotation of the Krivis3 Miko Kabba2 yields quite a good result. My AA build is kind of saved as of now haha (imo).

Besides AAing, the skill rotations can split into

  • Merkabah + Hamaya + Aukuras : Not a bad mini aoe while AAing
  • Divine Stigma + Zaibas : For 2nd rotation

I’m kind of split between R9 classes now.

  1. Inquisitor1 -
Burn is still great with Daino. Malleus Maleficarum is godly for increasing damage for the entire party. Breaking Wheel + Kagura Dance + Merkabah = lots of hits, great when there’s a melee player in party too. Godsmash + Double Chance can pick off low hp monsters should the 2 rotations are on cooldown.

  2. Zealot1 -
Immolation’s attribute add 1000 fire ele damage to all lines. Fanaticism’s +30% damage is good too since Merkabah’s additional holy is total damage based. Bad party skills though, doesn’t contribute anything. SP hoarder means Ein Sof most of the time is for self use instead of giving to a party member.

  3. Taoist1 -
Stormcalling enhances Zaibas skill rotation. Great for support due to Darksight and Stormcalling. Creeping death only good in burst mode when used with Merkabah, if the boss doesn’t move much. Tri-disaster + Begone Demon serve as another aoe when needed.

Which one should I choose ><

Does miko Sweeping effect Zombify, Samedive, Ogouveve, Pandemic?

Sweeping affects only structures, such as Samedieve, Ogouveve and Dievdirby statues, but it has the exception that it increases the Lv of Hamaya too.

Some light at the end of the tunnel for auto builds?

Daino only affects main hand, a bit like Running shot. Hence it is still feasible to get Krivis Chap to work while utilizing breaking wheel with Daino buff.

Can Bokor 1 be a good filler class to a Paladin 3 > Kabba 1 > Zealot 2 (SPR)?

Yeah, bokor helps a lot with AoEing (more targets to aggro stuff for you) so you can effectively use your zealot’s immoaltion + fanatic illusion. They also contribute quite a bit of damage, even with zombify 5 and no flag buff, in a full SPR build. When we get the patch which icnreases summon AAR, they also be hiting in area.

Torn on my zombie build.
<cleric 2 bokor 3 miko 1 plague dr 3 >or <cleric 2 bokor 3 paladin 1 plague dr 3> tied them both and both have pro and con. Just seems to me the MATK of 2handed mace is better over all. Then I think the synergies of miko might be better with better gear, plus I grounded out the miko quest lol.

This is the light that was needed. Thank you very much @Nekorin . Now we can only pray that IMC doesn’t mess the Flames of the Inquisitor.
There are 2 types of nerfs that we know Can possibly happen:

  • Daino will not work in the Flames as the same happens with the Breaking Wheel.
  • Monsters killed by the flames will not create new flames, like the Invocation from Warlock.

The daino+wheel could be considered a bug fix indeed since Wheel splash attribute is supposed to only work with physical hits and daino makes your AA magic.

Now the flames work like auto attacks, and thus we can’t call the interaction of flames and daino a bug per se. Changing it would have to be an intentional nerf, and it’s not even that big a thing like wheel+daino was.

Flames generating flames looks more like an overlook though, something which hasn’t become a big problem like warlock’s spirits back then so it’s been postponed as a fix of minor relevance most likely.

[Int] Cleric2 | krivis3 | Druid3 | Taoist13 for the +30% dmg buff from druid3 allongside zaibas with Storm Calling.

Hi, What does Daino 9/15 for? Does it turn all WW skill to magic?

Avoid Daino, it doesn’t work with druid transformations.

Fixed the build links as well.

It affects stuff like Zaibas, Aukuras and Taoist charms (Creeping Death, Tri-Disaster, Dark Sight, Storm Calling. Not both of the Tao2 skills though) too.

My Chap build has changed to the following

cleric1 - priest3 - chap - paladin - oracle - inquis1 - zealot1

  • Paladin for 2h mace and Smite for a quick pvp knockdown
  • Oracle for Forecast Evasion, Prophecy and Counter Spell, again mostly for pvp.
  • inq1 for burn and wheel, still necessities.
  • Zealot1, this is the fun decision.

Looking at attributes and skills I picked Zealot. Immolation gives 1000 fire property attack for a while, which simulates aukuras god of fire. Also it is impressive damage and range. Also good for pvp when used on a target hit by malleus.

Beady Eyes gives a huge crit boost for wheel combo with god smash and for auto attacks. Also good for pvp when dancing around melee classes or to close the gap

Invulnerable is always nice for pvp and pve, can’t complain about having on demand pain barrier. Will still use a gazing golem for the ASPD interaction.

Fanaticism works on all attack lines, did a quick test when I reset. So while it is dangerous to use, it is a 30% damage increase on all attack lines. Hopefully this doesnt get nerfed. If it does I will just drop Fanat for more points in Beady and Invuln.

Isn’t that something ppl said it doesn’t work anymore? Or the card still works that way?

Also for me Zealot is a dream class for chaplain…but I’m an Inquisitor-krivis-chaplain for now and hope for more ranks…

Hi, what would be a good stats distribution for a Paladin 3-Zealot 2 build? Full Str? Full Spr? A mix of both?

Str is ideal, but str zealot runs out of sp incredibly fast so you’ll likely want to fill in some spr regardless.
100-200 ish? can compensate for it with gear ofc, so keep that in mind.

Good to know that some Spr isn’t a bad idea! I wasn’t sure if a mix of both stats would be good.

One more question, which skill is better for that build, demolition or sanctuary (in other words one-handed mace + shield or two-handed mace)?

I’m fonder of Demolition because it gives you an extra attack while Fi+F are on cd. And FI is strong enough on its own anyway.
Sanctuary is still very nice for the group of course, so you can pick whatever you want.
