An ingame patrol GM and Botters

I don’t know if other people suggested it but, i popped a decent idea about bot problems that infest ToS, here goes nothing.

-Create an ingame patrol GM.
As the title said, make a GM squad around 3 man, an ingame GM that not much different with players (they play like normal players), patrol the map with only 3 authority namely,
-perma ban bot onsight after full inspection.
-teleport (for the sake of conveniency).
-innate megaphone.

-Why 3 person?isn’t 1 is enough?
This is for the sake of decision making, the team will discuss before the executing the ban for ambigious element.

-What if they miss ban the suspect?
That’s the point of 3 person, miss ban will unlikely to happen, actually 1 full authority GM is the best to trace the source of botter and wipe them for good.

-They will flood and flock the GM.
Sure with player mentality they will flock the GM everytime they see it cause, but this is a special but at the same time they’re the same with normal players, no fancy outfit, give it some time they’ll ignore the GM and treat them like normal players.

Feel free to give your opinion, and thank you for reading this.

I like the idea. I had something similar in mind, but different. I will make my own post later.

How about 2 teams of 2 though? Cover more ground. ToS is a big place with alot of channels.

BTW i think you posted this in the wrong section.

I think the main reason why GM is not hired is IMC can’t afford them.

No, you can’t hire voluntary GM (free GM), they often cause more problem by power abuse.

Sorry i mis-wrote cause my dumbphone

I agree about 2 or more squad, but 3 person is best when argumentation happen, third level headed person is needed for decision making and prevent power abuse.

No, voluntary GM is not recommended and better not. I’d be shocked if IMC can’t hire a dedicated GM as the game will turn into dead game as soon as it’s go F2P means it’ll become Tree of Botters.
That also a reason i stated 3 person which will decrease the worst scenario of power abuse to happen.

As the process of ban itself, my best idea is one of lesser GM will vote ban of the bot, then the remaining GM will discuss if there’s a point of uncertainty, after the conclusion is reached the ban can be executed.
