Like, 6 other people said that same as you and I answered all them already.
If your looking for another game i can recommend one⦠its not a mmo or anything though.
Fallout 4. Love this game. Itās what i was playing alot before this game released and what i play when this game is down.
I think i ll replay mass effect 3 for now xD
Ive played fallout series and they are indeed awesome, but my pc its still a bit weak to run fallout 4 in great specs, but if you liked fallout 4 I would recomend you mass effect and dragon age series ; )
(especialy if you are ok with shitty graphics and can start from mass effect 1 and import save to 2 and 3, same thing with dragon age.)
My⦠I just farm gold. So I can buy what I need. lol
Jelly m8?
ayyyy yooo
HAHAHA! This guy is not yet 200+ and is already crying. You dont want quest? Say that again after you reach 220+.
You know what your missing? A brain. If you want to quit, go quit. Make room for my friends on F2P. Take care!
I`m not crying, I am just asking other people opinions about my first impression, and asking if they have the same impression as me or if they perceive this game differently.
But seriously why are you being that rude with someone you donāt know, and who didn`t attacked you on any sense? Your father abused you sexualy when you were a child or something like that?
If you wanna talk about it I am psychologist and I can help you.
@topic
probably TS, I guess itās wrong to assume people who flock to this game are aware that itās reminiscent of old-school MMORPGs, and most likely have enjoyed such games in the past, but if you get bored of this gameās mechanics easily, youāre probably better off playing modern games.
(I do love the mass effect series, and I have to agree that out of the modern MMORPGs out there GW2 is the least repetitive/conventional. Iām also an active FFXIV player, and the main reason why I play this game even if Iām still not bored of any of the mentioned titles, is because of nostalgia and my old RO friends. I donāt think ToS offers anything new to the genre, but thatās the beauty of it I suppose)
Donāt feed the troll at night, itāll multiply.
Everytime, everytime.
And they tell you how they perceive the game, and you tell them they are wrong. You were looking for validation of your opinion, is what you were doing.
Everytime in these threads. Always odd.
itās fine, some people are like that
But yes it is very likely for different people to perceive things differently, and it is also natural for human beings to try to affirm their perception by discussing it with other people
The points you presented are valid concerns, but it is probably clear at this point that a sizeable number of people also still enjoy the game despite its flaws. Repetitive does not always mean boring for some people, sometimes they actively look for it to find something relaxing. Like how the Dynasty Warriors series kept selling on and on despite being the most literal button masher.
Others donāt mind the repetition due to other aspects of the game. I for one am still playing since this is the closest thing I have to an MMORPG with a fun class system to experiment with. I find personalising my builds the most fun part of an RPG, and this is the first MMO in a while that actually lets me do that in a meaningful way. Also the graphical style I personally find more pleasant than the more realistic style of western RPGs.
Also I personally would love them to add a bullet hell style boss battle, I think that would be awesome.
i do miss the monster cards that give unbalanced but interesting attributes. And naked snake lady pets.
Actually no if you read the thread you see that many people agreed with some of my points, while others explained why they think i`m wrong.
Some other people pointed that every mmorpg its like that, then I pointed Gw2, a game that its NOT like that, to try to show that not all games are that repetitive, and people agreed with me in that regard.
And I already said what my intentions are with this thread on a previous post, and they are not related to validation of opinion, its almost the opposite of it.
I`m looking for valid reasons to keep playing despite my gameplay pointing me otherwise because a close friend wanted me to keep playing with him.
What I found realy interesting tho its how most of the community its quick to judge and retaliate agressively any kind of negative comment about the game, I suspect thats the case even when those players secretly fell the same.
Then why did you type what I quoted.
Please make up your mind what you are asking us.
Are you looking for activities to do in-game? Or are you asking for our opinion of the game in general.
Are different questions, which will receive different responses.
Iām in the same boat, the game doesnāt have as much depth as i thought. it feels more or less like diablo 3 when it first came out but more simplified (items dont have varying stats).
The class system its pretty cool tho⦠the art its also gorgeous.
But what I got dissapointed its what you do with those classes, and what you do in those maps with that said gorgeous art⦠which pretty much its the same thing over and over.
The most valid thing some people said its that the game its too new, and while some other games get released with lots of different things to try out in the world, this did not, so it might include a lot of roleplaying stuff and āāthings to do aside from grindingāā on a near future (some guy even posted a map from a future gvg feature that seemed pretty appealing)
Or if they will only go further and further ino this āākorea mmorpgāā concept (I refer to endless grinding and repeating same quests over and over being considered fun)
Either way I spoke to my friend today and he said he will only be able to play on weekends for now , so I agreed to play with him on weekends and just play other games while I wait to ToS get new gameplay interesting aspects.
mind if i ask. why not stick with gw2? sorry if you answer this already. didnt check all the replies.
