Im still waiting for him to provide me the name of any game, on any genre. That is not repetitive.

Honest question: What are you looking for? You don’t like PvP, GvG, World Bosses, fetch quests and map exploration.

Tyvm sir people come playing a mmorpg expecting it to be like single player games

And the barriers?

I am just waiting for him to post the uninstall rage pic, meanwhile I am waiting for the classes. :sunglasses:

The problem here is that some players like games like ā€œWoWā€ and FF-ARR and others like games like RAG.

WoW and Rag styles are pretty different and that’s not just because the ā€œtimeā€ that they were released. Lots of games tried to be what WoW is and failed. FF still can hold himself into the big ā€œFINAL FANTASYā€ name.

So, maybe it’s nice to have a old fashion game into the market, with maybe a lot to be developed, since it’s just toooooo fresh.

That’s said, I’m not saying ā€œGET OUTā€, but maybe you tasted WoW and FF, and fall in love for that style. Maybe TOS isn’t for you.

My opinion can be proved by guys complaining about RNG and that we must have ā€œtokensā€ to trade gear. That’s just a shitty wow style, ffs.

This is unfortunately what happens when the honeymoon phase of a game is over. Not everyone will lose their rose tinted glasses, but some will. No reason to ā– ā– ā– ā–  on the guy, he just opened his eyes.

The more blunders (Whether they are or not is irrelevant) IMC make, the more the illusion of the game is peeled back, and this trend will continue. People will start looking at the game with more scrutiny.

Unfortunately, people with their eyes still closed don’t like this, and will cry about it.

You are being a rude and ignorant person, please stop that.

why are some of yall so hostile about this again. They came on to the forums to ask about other people’s experiences. They’re not being abrasive in the OP at all, or attacking anyone personally.

Disliking doing the exact same kinds of fetch quests for 220 levels is a valid complaint. It’s not your job to convince people otherwise, sure, but it’s not your job either to get all pissy over this and yell ā€œthen LEAVEā€ like ffs it aint that personal

I get what you’re saying. I love ToS and sometimes is kinda boring, but the game came out 5 months ago(?), so they will keep getting better and better, adding content, and changing some stuff. Played GW2, but let’s be honest, it wasn’t what it is now in the exact moment that the game came out.

If you’re planning to leave, think about that, ToS can change in some months (more classes, pvp, end-content, new quests, etc), and I bet it will.

sims would be the answer

I agree, the quests are boring and lame but it’s really there for people who prefer to solo level.

Because maybe it’s annoying to see people complain about smthing that they have done in many other games. What did they expect tos to be best game 2016? And considering the game is so very new how could u complain about content it’s like making a baby and asking y can’t he talk or do things dispite now being born -_-

I though a lot about that too Kvoex, maybe ToS its like that because they released it as a ā€œrawā€ plataform so they will still put actual content.

Its strange that so many people said that all mmorpgs are that repetitive, perhaps they didn’t played other mmorpgs?

Idk people are buthurt fanboys so hard that even if you comment that they will suck the dev balls on first opportunity.

Not really Edoinkun.

Its fair to expect that games get released with a huge ammount of content that only needs to be updated on at least one year from release date.

I’m from a time when games dare to be released with full content (crazy isn’t it?)

Of all the MMOs you had to mention you give me GW2… welp. I played it at release, I did everything, map completion, maxed out chars, the cooking, even the dyeing thing and I was done by week 3. I had fun but it’s the most arcade MMO I ever played. I still play it on and off but it’s far from being a good example for an MMORPG since on that game there’s no point on grouping, there’s no need for theorycrafting and WvWvW is like playing CoD. It’s the best definition for a single player game really. I mean, remove the online feature and it’s the same game (because c’mon, pvp is not really competitive).

By no means I’m saying this game is perfect or even great, but what you did is valid for every game. If you fail to see fun in the game and you see it as you described it then yeah, I can’t prove you wrong.

Korean MMOs are not made for all

Who was it that wanted tos to be released asap community not so? Yall asked for it then wanna say omg no content I’ve been player mmorpg for yrs now it’s the typical thing of Western players to rush cap complain about no content then quit hell I’ve done it some times but I don’t complain about no content or it not being what I wanted it to be I just accept the it the way it is and hope maybe things will change I’m no fan boy of tos but I like it cause it reminds me of my snes days I agree the game still needs alot of things but people need to give it a chance

I can only repeat what I said in other topics.

The game is new… and yeah there are other games that actually could provide more features and fun from the beginning… this game can’t for whatever reason. Maybe the devs rly released it too soon.
But I think ToS has a rly strong core and with time this can become much better than those other games.

As I see ToS it has all of its potential to have like any kind of features and extra fun… I hope the devs see it like this too and maybe they are already working on something.

But i’m not ā€œnot giving it a chanceā€. This thread its the exact chance that you think that I should give, wanted people sincere opinions thats why I was as polite and modest as I could on the thread.

But instead of people saying me very nice things to do in ToS that I could encounter on many other RPGs mmorpg and singleplayer that Ive played the rather trash talking and being fan boys.

^^

I agree the game being new its indeed an argument… but wouldn’t that point to not playing it, and returning when the game its more filled of nice things to do? (if this ever happen)
