All Pyros take Fireball1 now

Fireball1-15 all have 16 hits at all levels

106%-> 190% damage

But damn only gaining damage per level :<

i wish fireball gained aoe atk per level now

after the damage rebalance?

After the rebalance, all fireball gains per level is only more % damage which is hardly anything considering what it gains per level in it’s current state which is 1 hit per level in ITos which is a whole lot significant than about 4% in for 16 hits

is it 4% per hit or 4% in total?

this is great new update. can finally max firewall too

am a Pyro and I have 0 intention of getting balls :expressionless:

its 4% per hit which is 64% in total

Guys… 4% per hit is the same as +4% overall damage.

I’ll keep my balls at max lv.

This is great news! Means Pyro1 is viable.

Which is why I dont like it because it makes Pyro3 more of a meme

As it may sound that Pyro 1 is decent, it kinda makes pointless to get to c3, since from lv1 to 15 you only get 84% matk per hit (6 per level).

Of course as it is currently in kTest there may be changes in the new feature, but making it a lv1 wonder sucks D:

Hell Breath looks to be at a 351% modifier in ktest…so that is actually in good standing with other rank 5 abilities.

Fire Pillar 10 is 269% which is also good.

Flare 15 is 542% with 1 hit…which is actually pretty impressive burst. There are rank8 abilities from other classes that hit for less…

Fire Wall 15 is 325% x17…pretty darn strong.

Fire Ball 15 190% x16 which is still OK…pair it with sage and linker and the damage is still very impressive.

Well, to be fair, this extra 84% skil factor x 16 hits x 2 OH = 2688% extra skill factor every 15 seconds (so extra ~180%/second). Seems really decent to me.

Firewall is a broken skill because it’s “hits” arent real hits.

Hitting a large mob will use up 3 hits per hit

Hitting any water type mob will delete the firewall after 1 hit

Each fireball does 16 hits total, regardless of level. Fireball skill has 2 overheats.

At level 1, skill factor is 106%. Given every tick of damage from fireball replicates the damage formula, 16 hits actually do 16*damage. Damage’s calculated by (skill factor) * (atk) * (log10((atk/(def+1))^(0,x)+1) + (addtional dmg).

Let’s call ConstantDMG = (atk)*(log10((atk/(def+1))^(0,x)+1)+(addtional dmg), since it doesn’t change as we compare differnet skill levels.

So 2 overheats of 16 hits of fireball damage actually implies 216skill factor*(ConstantDMG).

Once again, at level 1 total fireball DMG would be (2OH)161.06*(ConstantDMG). At level 15, we’d have (2OH)* 161.9(ConstantDMG).

Relatively, fireball 15 is approximately 80% superior to lvl 1 in terms of damage: (lvl15/lvl1)=1.9/1.06=1,79. Alternatively,

In terms of absolute damage dealt, level 15 fireball does 60,8*(ConstantDMG) while level 1 does 33,92*(ConstantDMG). So yeah, at leel 15 fireball does a total of 26.88 times your MagAttack. This is what you’d actually notice, and as i stated in previous post, given fireball’s CD it’d mean an extra ~1.8*(ConstantDMG) every second when comapring lvl 15 to level 1.

So please, if there’s anything wrong with the maths, enlighten us…

It’s math, it’s boring. Pyro is boring. People want to take just one circle and ez-mode the game. However they want other circles for fun and big numbers.

That’s why people are spamming that one circle is enough.

Can’t blame them. Pyro is probably one of the most boring classes in the entire game.

I’m giving you ■■■■ because you said 84% skill factor turns into 2688% skill factor, which makes zero sense.
