Truth.
Just something to ponder on (discuss?) especially with how TOS is developing. I know RL is in a different genre but the concept of daily quests remains the same.
Dailies do have some pros though. Casuals for example can run dungeons and missions with the limited time they have to at least get some exp and silver. The problem, especially with low-populated servers, is the queue time.
Also, dailies alone will NEVER be enough to reach “average” in this game. At various points, you will always need to either quest, grind or both - and if you don’t want to be left behind doing some dailies like Saalus (for the shards) becomes mandatory.
Hurrdurr, git gud. TOS hardcore.
I guess. Not gonna disagree with that.
You gotta wonder though: if a game would just improve/fix/rework existing content first (both dailies and non-) especially with the known issues instead of piling up on more dailies, wouldn’t it be more fun and less chore moving forward?
EDIT: By “dailies” AKA Daily Quests I mean all in-game content that resets everyday e.g. events, dungeons, missions, quests, etc. This includes Saalus, Uphill, E.T., Merc Post, etc.
