hello, im making a pvp cata and im lvl 80 for now my stats are 94 str 42 dex and 18 con, this is a pure pvp cataphract and i plan to go up to 100-150 con, but the question is what should i focus now? str or dex? the str buff make it seems like str would be better, but at the same time dex gives evasion and accuracy
what are your opinions?

But isn’t difficult without con to pvp?

@pedrothin2 the thing is with full str is that i dont see myself pvp without con, i thought about getting like 100 points invested into con and then going str or dex

Do you know just how much full str he is? As in, did he put any into con or dex? It’s good to hear that that build is viable though as I prefer to go str and try to make up as much crit as I can with gear.
I asked him, he told me he is full str. I just dont remember which video has this question/answer as he uploads tons of videos. As soon as i’m home I can check it for you (currently at work)
Man plate mastery gives you some hp, also you can upgrade the pet to get hp from him. Cataphract has these tools do he can invest in damage.
How do you hit against full evasion swordies with a full str build?
Judging his videos he miss a lot some high dex archers. But guess what, rush is enough to kill those even if he misses, as these guys with lots of evasion has little to no hp. Man there is a match that he solo a psychokino + plague doctor. 2x1!!! The guy is strong af.

and second, what ill probably do is get 3 pieces of plate set, and a piece of leather gloves for high accuracy with a green gem if im against a very high dex build
its only against swordies and archers, clerics and mages dont care about my evasion

That just prove to me that stats don’t really matter as long as you got con, since the #1 catagoon on ktos has only 70 str, i guess its all skill and proper gear.
Just dont fall in that full con bullshit we’ve seen arround. Levine videos are very entertaining and a fountain of info. You can see some full con Warlocks (for example) dealing little to no dmg to him, while full int locks killed him in a sec with theurge, and Magic missle spreading 6k each missle.
Thanks for the info. It gives me hope also that he went sw2/petl then catagoon. I went pelt/hop and just hit cata, planning to go catagoon then lancer once that’s out. Obviously guardian is important, I was curious why he didn’t swashbuckle since he’s using 1h/shield anyways for the huge hp buff too? Either way, some good insight, and makes me wonder if maga+aias then is the way to go for pvp as opposed to cata pike.
He mostly starts with the 1h + shield, but when he goes full offensive he equips the 2h spear (he is using Cripple, drops from Mirtis world boss). He keeps swaping a lot and swashbuckling buff is removed if you swap weapons.
