Not to be offensive,
after playing swordsmen and archers,
and eventually wizards and clerics.
I can tell you that all physical class is not that useful and essential in this game.
-Mages and clerics can do all the things P class can and can’t do.
- BOSS DPS
- AOE DPS
- TANK
- CC
- RECOVERY
- BUFF AND DEBUFF
From early game to late game, all the way through I feel like my archers and swordman quite worthless compare to my wizards and clerics.
What I have seen now P class can do better is only TANK, yes a FULL TANK MELEE. Actually it is rare to see a full tank in TOS because they always need damage for solo questing.
Not to mention PVP, magic class is dominating the role.
I don’t know what IMC is thinking, I have not play RO, is there any similar phenomena from there? I mean magic classES always be the leaders.
I think we need something to change:
Melee class:
- Magic attack can be blocked.
- Resistance or neutralization on debuffs. (kTOS is doing it)
- CON provides extra magic defense. (Better than 30%bouns STR in kTOS)
- Utility (Can rush on targets)
- AOE (Attack should be count as area not AOE attack)
Archer class:
- Range (They should have more range than mages)
- Extra critical rate/Critical attack/Evasion on DEX
- Extra penetration on STR
- Larger skill area (Mutishots, Flare shots, Siege burst, Cannon blast, High anchoring, Magic arrow, crossfire.)
To sum up, please don’t under scaling physical classes, magic classes now is just awesome, I can do whatever I want on both PVE and PVP, that’s the game environment makes wizards awesome.
