I don’t think AFK pet farming is ok , the players should be rewarded by playing the game, with the only exception being some classes that offer service shops. So I hope IMC makes the pet goes “AFK” (idle) with his owner , and if the guy try to circumvent it in some way with a third party program ban hammer on him

Stuff like this is why I have an Oracle. It’s all fun and games when you AFK farm, until I turn all the nearby mobs into elite mobs with ranged attacks, and then you die. Or just plunk down a high level red orb, although I prefer to save those for bots.

There’s nothing more satisfying than dropping an orb on a bot, or changing their easily killed mobs, and seeing them die and drop 50+ gems, including monster gems.

I kinda have change of heart because someone did made a good statement on Reddit.

Sorcerers have to use a potion every 100 seconds or their mana runs out
and pet is de-summoned. If you see a sorcerer afk he is using a macro to
auto-pot and should be reported. I don’t think any class can afk
without their pets running out, even Summon Salamion only lasts for 200
seconds.

Though, I never liked afk pet farming whatever the game is because it’s same for afk auto press key because it’s same as botting for me. It’s cheating.

I don’t think they confirmed pet farming but they gave a similar response to some Z farmers and un banned them. So similar, might be what your thinking of.

So how do sorcerers summon and use SP potions being afk without using a macro (third party program) for it?

addon. there is an addon that allows you auto pot at 50% of both hp/mp. Eventually it will runs out and you just die thats all.

Hm, but even if it’s an addon I think it’s still bannable right? If they can use an addon to use potion, I think there shouldn’t be a problem with holding Z too, you could make an addon that would “hold Z for you”, ant it would be the same.

im going to report every pet farmer i see as a bot because screw that noise

I saw a guy AFK pet farming in Tenet church in a convenient place where he wouldn’t get overrun by the swarm. So I pulled everything close by, moved it to him and channel changed.

He died… :cry:
