I have seen a lot of players do this AFK PET FARMING thing. Mainly on every channel in Mines 1st floor. Dont understand the hate some have for these sort of players tho (afkers i mean). I can accept bot hate cos they keep killing my quest targets. Iāve been afk at dungeon 50 tenet entrance while having lunch and when i get back someone apparently used red orbs to kill all them noobs waiting to queue for dungeon. RIP community. Need balance so Pardoner and Squire with open shop also take damage 
No matter what IMC says about this, there will always be a split in playerbase of how acceptable this is. Still nice to see IMC opinion/stand on this matter.
Iāve done a similar thing with Homunculus in RO. Although in RO you dont get zeny from your kills. It wasnt a problem there, and the homunculus are tons stronger compared to the shitty damage companion does here.
I think the only problem is people mostly AFK at obvious spot like entrance of Mines Village. Pet can kill steal weak mobs from newbies and mostly the one that has uncommon spawn if not rare used for questsā¦ Newbies donāt understand and only pissed then simply right click bot reportā¦

tl;dr - technically yes and if someone reports you and you donāt respond youāll be banned for botting.
Donāt twist this. Pet farming is the exact same as botting. The mere fact that people are trying to argue otherwise just means you wanna cheat and be lazy and get away with it. 
Iāll report you all extra hard to be sure you get banned. <3

Iām okay with any method to play the game as long as itās within the game feature and doesnāt involve third party software.
If IMC donāt like it, just patch it.
Sure, go on and report all the afk farmer so that your RRI will be 0.

you take too much damage to do this? I canāt really think of any
100+ spot that would allow you to pet afk train so it all seems minimalā¦
AFK Pet farm = bot and unbalanced, u must be set macro for use potsā¦
pets do little to no damage, my 180 pet cant even 1 shot mobs on mines lol unless we are talking about AFK sorc summon farm then thatās a different story, and loots scatter when you AFK farm I think cause I was able to loot 1 mithril ore from those afk farmers before

IMC is well aware that these companions/summons can be used to afk. What they are asking is not to abuse it. How can we gauge the limit of abuse? That is mostly IMC standard.
It can be deduce slightly and by common sense that if the majority of the players in the map per channel are annoyed by a lot of afk pet farmers, we can report them and IMC will take action. As of right now, it is not a hindrance at all. I would rather not have this type of activity popular at all or even make a topic about it. It is not fun watching the game full of afkāers at low level.
Ive been doing pet afk farming since lv. 100 on my main char. Youāre not violating any rules nor using 3rd party programs. Some people wants to know the āhard wayā coz they cant leave their PC on overnight

Is a big Fake, people who afk farming use a illegale programme !!!
Like sorceres, How you are AFK and you use pots mp for recovery ? you use a illegale logiciel who use the key for you X time or when you have low mp that = bot !!!
HOW YOU RECOVERY YOUR MP WITH POTS THEN YOU ARE AFK !!!
