AFK Grinding is getting ridiculous

Hey guys, just a quick note on the afk grinding a.k.a autoattack spammers: These guys are everywhere! Seriously, on every single map that has easy to kill mobs there are dozens of people stopped at the spawn camp using a autoattack macro while they’re afk. It’s really annoying for the people who are in fact grinding and trying to kill some mobs. If you go to Royal Mausoleum Constructors’ Chapel you can clearly see a afk grinder on every single end of a path and it is really hard to get any monsters in there. The devs need to think of a solution for this, otherwise we will be stuck doing quests nonstop just to stay equal to these guys.

This was taken exactly 4 minutes after the server reopened, stayed there for five more minutes just to make sure.

I dont mind they grind more or they lv up faster, but it’s really annoying, it breaks the feel of the game with all this bot-looking characters moving insanely everywhere

I’m also hella frustrated about that

This is sad and annoying… When did we come to the point where people not even play game by themselves but left keyboard/macro to play it for them.

you should have checked out miner’s village. I’d always laughed out whenever I pass by that area

the amount of players at the giant red keppas doing that are insane, it can’t even spawn and is insta killed, it bares the ridicule

They keep spawn killing the poor big keppa :c

Agree, they better do something about this quickly or else it’s gonna kill the game like what happened to RO when 90% of the population became bots.

Well the engine they’re using => "Tree of Savior is designed using self-developed game engines developed for “Granado Espada”.

Granado Espada is known to have AFK leveling.

With the latest change in economy (sell price dropped, repair price increased), more people will be farming at Big Red Kepa now.

RIP.

Weird, I haven’t seen anyone doing this. Maybe I’m not hanging out in the right spots.

Agreed, this has to be fixed. Grinding in this game was fun before this exploit.

well i guess the only solution for this is to make people automatically logged out when standing at 1 point for too long.
even if they remove auto attack holding z, people could just make scripts spamming z. so i guess the solution would be an auto logged out feature. (except when youre sitting vending etc)

rather than beeing logged out after beeing in 1 spot for too long, simply lock up attack/skills atfer lets say 50 attacks while standing in 1 position. and unlock them again after they moved a tile.

really, u havent seen the massive stack of people outside crystal mines auto attacking the spot where the big onion boss spawns?

They should just spawn a restraining pillar type trap that prevents a person from auto attacking, to people who stand in one tile after a set amount of time.
For a normal human player, it shouldn’t hinder since you can just move out of it easily.

You have my sword at this one.
This could really be a good solution, as in high level places where the monsters are more agressive we gonna see a lot of afk farmers dead.

i wish that red onion would get a holiday or something with that kind of beating he got and spawn other mobs like Yonazolem instead?! ill record that scene and would definitely enjoy watching how he spin-aoe those bullies into kingdom come

I don’t mind the AFK grinders, whenever i go by that big onion place i get free loot that they don’t pick up, free income for me :), if you’re just a new player, just run by that place and pick up a free set of armour ,shield or necklace or pendant whist killing the small mobs that infest that place

And then use your brand new gear to look for the few monsters left by them on other maps with the rest of the players, then try to gather some money to buy the rare items they basically monopolize.
