Anything changed? Is it worth playing ToS considering ill be playing with a fresh account and I dont intend to put any money in the game?

I’m not angry or anything, but I think some stuff has to be said…
Most idiotic questions you can ask about something imo, if you really want an answer for it, play the game and get your own conclusion.
Why? Because other’s experience aren’t yours, what one may say it’s worth or not will probably be different from what you find worth or not.
I don’t go in every game asking: “Is it worth playing? Is this any different from X game?” it’s dumb, I just install the game, play and get the feel from it, if it’s worth, I keep playing, if not, uninstall it, plain and simple.

The couple months I played ToS back in the day was pretty fun but the p2w started hitting and the population started dropping, so I tried to start a healthy conversation to know why and how you guys enjoy playing, to see if it matches me, but I guess I failed…
The only thing that keep me playing this game is me being curious about builds and keep doing weird stuff left and right with the builds, other than that, whenever I hit Lv 315 I simple stop playing that char because I already did what I wanted and the rest of this game is not worth my time.
I mean, you take 1 week to reach 315 (if you play like me whenever you feel like it) and after that you take 4-6 months to farm gear? And to sink the knife even deeper in your ass it’s gear that will become obsolete when new content comes later on. The only saving grace is transcendence, which I find a pretty idiotic system, the weapons already are pretty good, will become more interesting when the random stats system hit later on and to complete all this, you don’t have a limite on enhancement as long as you are luck (or use exploits) to get +20 to +40 weapons.
If this game was on Closed Beta stage I wouldn’t mind tbh, it was for testing, but heck, they release the game that is in tatters, don’t fix the issues, introduce more issues and the only stuff we get is more CS stuff and the same old events every month.
When I get really tired of this thing I go play something else or simple keep on my reading and watching shows.
Advice ? better not exist, do not start the game, do not play, do not deposit, do not waste your time … look for another game with a better management company.
