i’m going to be a cannoner i know i should max circling, but i’m not about hovering or pheasant, which one is better? thanks
You’re hardly gonna use them so it’s just a matter of preference but imo hovering is better. For every falconer skill you use, you have to call back your falconer using “call” or “roost” to cast another falconer skill. Most people just stick to using circling + call most of the time.
can you use your skills with only using call? why roost then?
Yes, you can. I said either or, but if your’e just going to be falconer 1, just put 1 point for call and you can ignore roost if u want to.
Your falcon leaves after doing a move (circling/hovering/pheasant), so then you have to call them back to do something ago.
Roost puts down something for the falcon to sit on so it just go on there instead of flying away allowing you to make it do a move without having to call it again.
Though even with the distance attribute for roost, the range you can move away from it is still really low, and Call is a 15sec CD which is pretty short, so I found very few chances where I felt Roost gave me any real value.
thank you guys i got it
pheasant is aoe kicking skill the dmg is so so, can use to kick enemies away when you don’t want to fight, but can mess your team aoe dmg because of the kicking
hovering main use if for kick enemies that come near the area, can use as defensive to protect you when you’re kneeling or charging skills. and can act as additional dmg(not really significant though but it is place and forgot skill)
hanging shot is nice but only+1sec per skill lv isn’t much
These skills mostly use for kicking so higher lv doesn’t provide much benefit, my suggest is put 1 point in each skill, and try them and use the left over point in your most favourite one.
5/5 Circling
5/5 Hovering
1/1 Call
4/5 Hanging Shot
Don’t bother with roost or pheasant. If you use roost, there’s a period where your falcon fly from/to the roost, and if you use any of the skill during this period, your skill is wasted.
Falcon kind of seems pvp oriented, in addition to the ktos changes where most of the moves blinds them now.
a non-target able thing that aoe intrupts the other side or a hawk constantly harassing a group seems like something that fits group battle scenarios
