Actually, no. I’ve tried both, sfx and fps savior but neither was able to effectively disable diev’s aura graphic effect. Then, someone in-game indicated me ‘war mode’.
Searched a bit and found this link, it correspond to the addon i’m refering, although it seems it’s code is just a simple copy and paste from someone else’s work (uncertain about it, saw it on reddit).
It never made it to the manager, but i’ve had a great experience with it.

Chat Extend Addon, read through the forums reporting it crashes the game.
Strange, I’m not crashing with ChatExtends enabled…

EDIT: I would recommend uninstalling ChatExtends through Addon Manager, and deleting a stray “settings.json” from the addons directory of your Tree of Savior folder. Afterwards, reinstall ChatExtends. I found a slight issue in my “fixed version” I have a link to, that I am currently resolving. I will remove the link until a new version is uploaded.
I can find no link between Chat Extends and the game crashes. The only cause I can see for the crashes are the universal (see: regardless of addon usage) conflict with Visual Studio 2015.
That said, my fix has been deprecated by an update from the author, so I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Chat Extends through the Addon Manager. I have removed my link accordingly.
short: yep, it’s universal thing.
in chatextends there’s the function that use for auto-create directory for settings/chatlog files by using os.execute()
maybe it’ll crash with any codes that start a command prompt or calling another programs. let’s say Remote Execution thingy ( didn’t test for that case, sorry 
)
and i’m not sure if this was intentionally done by IMC or not too ( like a problem from porting the game into VS 2015 )
ps. io.popen is crash too ( used by addonloader and more? ), while normal io. is fine. and the game itself still uses Lua 5.1

You did great, actually. And you’re right, I’ve noticed at least Chat Extends opens a cmd during map load for its functionality, but I’m not having issues at all with it currently. It’s possible though that after the RE update that some people are experiencing issues depending on individual specs.

Maybe, 'cause i’m currently running VS 2017 Redist, which will force remove 2015 version to install it. but the game can run on that, so it should be fine?

yeah Chat extend addon was crashing my game everytime i tried to log in after manteniance (tried 4 times on each of my 6 chars)always crashed when the loading bar reached the end, uninstalled the addon and stoped the crash, reinstalled the addon, crashed again, but i didnt removed the file you did say, gonna try later when i get home
VGA crash still happens for me even though I’ve uninstalled chat extension. Did a search inside my Steam TOS folder for “chat” and found no addons, just one file labeled: chat_config_ so am going to assume I don’t have this addon installed.
VGA crash usually happens when loading into a new map. Especially town.

It would seem we have a division on this Chat Extends issue. For many users it works fine after applying the recommended fixes, while for many others, it prevents them from accessing the game.
Can those of you experiencing problems provide as much information related to applying the “Visual Studio 2015” fix process as possible here? What steps did you take, what order, to get the game working with or without Chat Extends, etc.
My /idp stopped working. Anyone having issues as well?
Mine is working perfectly fine
Mine disappeared for some unknown reason… When I type /idp it shows back up again but only for one character. If I log out it disappears again.
I unninstalled it and installed back twice and the issues persists. Is there some command ingame other than /idp to try to fix this?
I recall other users reporting an issue with this a while back, but I don’t recall what the solution was… I’ll look into it.
Been running (fine) for days without Chat Extends because I was assuming the crash was happening to everyone so I was just checking for a new version update number in the addon manager.
Today I get the idea to see if you have performed your magic on it and I see you guys are talking about how it works now, so without scrolling further down:

So my situation is that my game runs fine with 41 Addons, my game runs fine with 0 Addons, if I add Chatexends to my game with 41 or 0 other addons that’s an instant crash.
I have no installed a new VS2015 since the news that we needed because after downloading it and trying to run it I simply received the “already present aborting install” type message.
Willing to try whatever you think might work over the course of the day, No amount of effort would stop me trying to get chatextends back up and running again.
I’m curious if Chat Extend’s functionality could be achieved without the use of the cmd batch that appears to be part of the loading process. I will speak to @LunarRabbit about this.
Tomorrow night brings weekly patch night. Please be on standby to report any broken or working addons.
Also, no update so far on Chat Extends or Enhanced Collections, afraid.
