Correct. You have to exchange the medals once per day. If you turn in multiple medals at the same time or even miss 1 day then it will be impossible for you to receive the diamond anvil.

becoz of their misleading"1-28 medal"most of my fren n I was thought collected by medal amount, but it actually counted by DAYS.so most of us missed the “day 28” n their mistake typo on the anvil…RIP
These active player events will be quite redundant soon since there won’t be any active players left.
