About "Z" Botters/ AFKers - suggestion solution

After seeing many are not happy with such players that AFK-ing while putting some hard object to continuously pressing the ‘Z’ button to attack mobs. (and this may lead to KSing). It makes people wonder if it is botter or ‘legal’ players, and hence TOS come out with some reporting bot solution which i think that’s not it???

But there is a simple solution to solve this ‘Z’ pressing issue. I used to play a mmorpg game M (not to mentioned clearly), in the game same issue happens.

The game comes out with a solution which is if player continue holding a keyboard button (attack or skills button), without releasing , for about a certain Seconds of time (e.g. 5 seconds?), the button lost its function, to continue attacking or using skill, player just need to release the button and repress it. (releasing and repress, just takes like…1-1.5 second?). So there should be no more this issue right?

So let see if TOS actually takes this issue seriously and put effort to solve it.

you can make a custom macro with certain keys on it like… zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

and then your system wouldnt work as intended :v

if that’s the case, just work on the macro system too. Problems can be solved.

Its good that you’re trying to think of ways to stop the madness, but this would only affect afker’s and not bots.

This could cause a lot of frustration having your character stop attacking all the time especially when you don’t know when you’re going to stop attacking. Don’t forget there is quite a large amount of players with disabilities that rely on things like auto attacking.

well, just a suggestion, if your point is about dont know exactly when it stops attacking, i suggested that maybe 5 seconds, depends the actual timing implemented? It will be hard at first, when you used to it, you will know when exactly to press and release it (it’s like driving a manual car).

If your point is about disabilities advantages, well, i have nothing to say, but don’t forget people also ‘Misuse’ this advantage for disabilities, there are always pros and cons.

Placing hard object to continuously pressing ‘Z’ is not prohibited as far as I know. LOL. Also, how could an auto attack KS you? Because honestly, normal attack is not as strong as any of the skills in the game.

Yes, it is not prohibited, but it annoys some players as there is still people complaining about it. (e.g. smoking is not against the law, but there is still non-smoking area provided.)

How could an auto attack KS you, when normal attack not as strong as skills?For example, a high level player want to farm silver while AFKing in a Low level map, a simple low level mob which one auto attack can kill it instantly, and there are low level players on the map trying to do quests/grinding.

If it’s not phohibited I will build a real robot with arduino that press buttons while I’m sleeping… It’s not a macro/program so it’s ok ‘-’
