There was a thread literally encouraging people to exploit this bug not too long ago, claiming that “You’ll never get cube drobs or become PvP/GvG viable if you don’t abuse this bug.” They said people would never get punished or banned either with the utmost confidence might I add.

how do I even report bugs? or spammers? there is nothing in game that I could conveniently find. maybe these forums have something but I’m more likely to just make a post on reddit.
Well damn, that sounds pretty scummy, well hopefully the punishment isn’t too harsh for those that obviously didn’t realize they abused it… I mean why would I over level caltrops… lol. But anyways I submitted a ticket for not really knowing so it’s at least documented that the bug existed on my account. Not like I need the extra slow percentage so much that I would over level such a worthless attribute and full draw which I don’t really even use on my auto attack QS3 lol
lol. I know what thread you are talking about, and that thread was written entirely tongue-in-cheek. OP was not being serious, and he even explicitly said so in his responses. He was just trying to get IMC to fix the bug which they had ignored since closed beta.
I even remember he responded to you specifically when you accused him of encouraging people to abuse this bug. He was clearly just using a clickbait-y title and wording to raise public awareness about this bug so IMC would fix it.

Also, stop making things up… He didn’t say they wouldn’t get punished. He just claimed that IMC would not ban them (which also was said with tongue in cheek, might I add). I know this because he re-posted his post with a less clickbait-y title after it got deleted. Which got a response from Staff_Ines (finally).
You basically clearly missed the entire point of that post. If that thread wasn’t created, IMC never would have fixed this bug so quickly. You should be thanking him. Not denigrating him.

If everything is as clearly and explicitly stated as you’re claiming it to be and if i’m making things up then please, let’s work with the thread instead of just your obviously emotionally driven and biased response which one could only infer is a result of you being friends or acquaintances with the OP.
I mean i’d much rather go with the original one but since it was unjustly deleted despite its outright “clarity and explicitness” I’m at a disadvantage.

Lmao? Do u think that idiot has any part on the bug getting fixed? I, and a lot of players, reported this through tickets and with an email to tos’s “urgent/emergency email address” (the one thet used for cbt). I,personally, got a response on my ticket and the email.
Also, he was serious about the “no ban” and he was spreading misinformation ^^. Everyone that abused the class bug on ktos(who cares about itos cbt? Lol…) was banned. There is no one with impossible class combinations running around on ktos, yet he makes ■■■■ up. Nice friend u got there bruh

pls don’t talk if you haven’t seen the original post. The original post had over 2.5k views and 70+ responses in a span of a few hours, then was deleted by IMC. Then 2 days later, IMC makes an announcement saying that they are going to fix it. Even though this bug was reported by people like you since closed beta. Yeah, I’m sure it was your bug report that got IMC to move so quickly.
and sure, you may think that I am his friend. (but I am not.) Also, there are plenty of players on kTOS who did not get banned for the class change exploit. Of course you wouldn’t know since you aren’t friends with any of them.

I kind of feel like the person that made it public should get this “restriction” also he could have reported the bug without posting it so big and bold on the forums. I meant when someone buys an illegal drug you put both the buyer and the seller in jail, so it’s only fair the person that made this public should get the “restriction” too. I mean he made it spread like wild fire when he could have just msg’d Customer support and reported bug.

Honestly, Why are you punishing IMC for the beautiful game they created? …
You should be punished for complaining a lot, learn to live without complaints. You’ll soon realise that “you’re world” is shared with others’ world. When others have issues, you dont just spout out, Hey issue issue issue, screw you issue, Issue on this, issue on that. Learn to live with it, find openings elsewhere, report these issues, and well just completely ignore the issue if it keeps on occuring. If it hasn’t been fixed, then don’t even try. Don’t just blame.
I don’t know how much time they are putting to keep this game up and running and with 6 different servers. And to properly ban bots from all servers, and not just “ban all reported bots” cause i’m sure you’re the kind of people who’ll just report if you see a priest put up blessing and hit Monsters. Not all priests are bots, and not all bots are priests. Learn to find the distinction.
Dungeon spamming go report the issue, theres a page for Gameplay Feedback. Go talk there on issues like this. Why are you even part of this topic. Its about “attribute overlevel bug exploit” Not about you and your sad life pressing the spacebar, everyone’s having the same issue. Its an overpopulated server, due to south east asias high birth rate, and high middle aged population. Go tell everyone to skill up (maybe even MAX) protective zone, don’t just deprotected zone and slice your way in the women, and Magnus exorcimus her insides. This you can tell to every person in each South East Asian country to reduce your overpopulated server, OR you can just go hack the servers, find their IP, find their address, and slay ToS SEA Telsiai players 1 by 1, kill 10,000 and you’ll get an achievement. [Overpopulated Server Reducer] OR JUST BE PATIENT AND GRIND YOUR LEVELS, AND FIND OTHER GEARS IN FIELDS and NON-INSTANCED DUNGEONS OR KILL WORLD BOSSES/FIELD BOSSES.
