About the additional damage on Double Slash (Sword C3)

##Hello fellow tosters!
So if you have been wondering if you could make an enemy bleed, only beeing a Sword C3, for the additional damage on Double Slash, via stunning the enemy with Restrain and hitting it with Thrust while having the Thrust Bleeding attribute.

IT DOES NOT WORK,

at least not with just Swordsman C3.

Why doesn’t it work?

The stun duration on Restrain is just too short, and shouldn’t be longer, you can’t get Thrust onto the stunned target before it wears off.

##Can’t you just stun the target with Thrust + Restrain?
Sadly not, it looks like it applies the stun after the check if the enemy is stunned has been done, thus Thrust : Bleeding does not apply.

A proposal :

Now I don’t know if this is possible, but theoreticly if the check on the Thrust : Bleeding attribute for a stunned target would happen after the enemy has been stunned by the Thrust hit with Restrain active, the Bleeding attribute should work. At least I think this is the way I think it is working at the moment and could work with the change beeing made.

Disclaimer:

I just reached Sword C3 thus I only have 2 points into Thrust and 5 points into Restrain, although I doubt increasing this won’t change a thing.
Any testing has been done with a ping of 60-100ms.

If there is anything I completly glossed over, or I am wrong about please make sure to correct me and make sure to share your opinion, should we be able to get the additional damage just by beeing Sword C3 in the first place?

Buuummmppp from the dead!

So on my new swordsman i just found out about this. Whats the point on having double slash do more damage on bleeding and an attribute for thrust to make bleeding, but not able to take advantage of any of this? Does it actually work and im doing it wrong?

Look a GM replied about this last december. So they knew about it, but still nothing?

EDIT well, i did some more searching and from what i read the extra bleeding damage is only like 200 damage… not double or anything. so i guess i dont care.

It seems like they started working on swordsman and put it on the backburner. Then they never went back to it. Just how it looks to me…
