About Hunter and Falconer mechanism

hi everyone,recently i was thinking of building an archer but i didn’t play any archer before so i was totally new there:D i got few questions to ask about hunter and falconer i’ll appreciate it if someone can answer.
how does the skill from hunter and falconer actually calculate?
1.Does it have something to do with the stats of pets? i mean if it is, is it simplely only the stats of the pet that counts or will it be affected by character’s stats too?
2.the attacks(skills) from pet sometimes got dodged or blocked by opponents.however a pet has accurancy but not block penatration so i was wondering how does it actually work with block/block penatration since it didn’t have this stat at all. Maybe it is dominated by the character’s stats? and the same question for evasion/accurancy.
3.Hovering from Falconer will knockdown the enemy but when it was blocked,dodged,or against ppl in condition of immune to dmg, then the enemy won’t be knocked down( for example,ausrine or safety zone).but the skills like retrive could actually work well.but i’m not sure coz i only watched some videos and didn’t check it personally.
4.anyway, ill appreciate it if someone post a certain kind of formula to the dmg of those skills
5.will the attributes from archer C2 which gives extra critical rate also works for pets?
6.when in cloacking, will it be cancelled by using any skill related to pets?
7.what is the effect of debuff “terror” ?

  1. Only the archer stats matter, they use your PATK the one from your character when you press F1, they also use their own skill PATK. Not so long ago we got the attribute Obedience for both ground and air companion, this grants 30% at its maximum level of the pet ATK to skills. However this doesn’t take away the fact that your weapon matters, a lot.

  2. All pet skills with the exception of rush dog are actually melee attacks that come from the archer, think of them like a very, very, large sword. You can get frozen by sub zero shield and will get damage from revenged seven fold. Rush dog is the only skill to base all its calculations, yes, even the accuracy one from the pet. Pet’s can be blocked, I guess they do have block pen, but it is not displayed.

  3. Hovering deals knockdown, the only way to avoid being kocked back /down is having pain barrier on, anything else was a huge oversight that was or is on its way of being corrected.

  4. It uses the same damage formula as all skills, rush dog is the only one to be a bit different. I do not have the link to the formula nor do I know it by heart, hell, I even ignore it, it is so damn convoluted that I just increase my PATK and I’m a happy man.

  5. As I’ve stablished all skills from hunter and falconer, with the exception of hunter’s rush dog will use the archer’s stats, this includes critical rate.

  6. Yup, the only exception being rush dog (unless fixed)

  7. There’s many, many Fears in this game. it is silly and they do different things. Growling immobilizes enemies, pointing? I do not know, never took it.

If I remember correctly rush dog uses the same formula as a character. But instead of the characters damage and stats, the pets is used with the skill damage (of course). If I also remember correctly, it is considered true damage. So it bypasses enemy armor. (If you do a search, you should be able to find it on the forums… (I’m hungover)

The Fear from Pointing causes afflicted enemies to have lower damage. I do not remember if it is a % or flat. Again, a search on the forums should help you.

It doesn’t bypass anything now. if it did it would still damage people under ausrine. oh those were hilarious days.
