can circling gives autoattack aoe?
thanks
Doesn’t Archer’s ranged AA aoe attack ratio sit at 0? Subtracting aoe defense ratio from the enemy isn’t going to make 0 any bigger.
oh. didnt know that. thanks.
But you can get equip that increases your AoE attack ratio, right?
And circling can decrease defense ratio to negative.
But answering the OP question, I doubt archer autoattacks can AoE even if you stack mobs super tightly.
I had Vubbe Gauntlets on the majority of my Archer’s career, and not once have I seen an auto attack AoE.
As far as i know, the only ability that circle can turn into AOE in the archer skill set is Multi Shot.
It’s far from the only one. Snipe and Musketeer, sapper explosions etc.
From what i understood, snipe got nerfed into oblivion in that regard.
It still works perfectly well with linker+falconer combo.
Its best to first rely on yourself, then on getting a specific class, when considering a build…imo.
Yeah, but there are lots of other ways to group mobs in one point, it was just the most obvious and easiest one.
I was looking at the ToS Fan Base website’s Database and found something interesting…
Not sure if the database is accurate tho… and it’s not the only one with AoE Attack Ratio too!
Some archer skills are AoE(like multishot). So nothing special here.
Yeah true but it’s only applied to that particular skill. The bow give 1 point to AoE Attack Ratio that is applied to all your attack not just one skill. So I believe it would work on auto attacks. But then again I did not play enough to get my hand on one of these bows. Would be great to hear feedback from someone who actually used it.
You seem to misuderstand the concept of AoE attack ratio.
Most of the archer skills have AoE attack ratio of 0, but they have decent AoE hitbox. So if you have enough AoE attack ratio from gear, you can hit multiple enemies with those skills. While autoattacks don’t have AoE hitbox, so they can’t hit multiple enemies no matter how high your AoE attack ratio is. That’s it.
Yep. Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying my misunderstanding.
