A2-Sapper2-Wugu2-Cannon vs A2-Sapper2-Fletcher3

somebody should make a guide for this build cause i think its really underrated and not many people know about it

currently im 1:1 str:dex tho that might change with my stat reset potion, i just gotta test out a full dex build to see my dmg.

I just wonder, didn’t rogue overshadowed by fletcher in the term of boss killing?

would you recommend dropping ranger for A2? do you still use your level 5 barrage at higher levels?

Only for the crit buff, lvl 10 multi-shot and Magic Arrow dont combo well, being magic arrow is on 5 sec cd. Barrage is till doing good damage at alemeth, especially up close. But since A2 swift step buffs crit rate even with your equips crit you know youre going to be using that your whole archer career.

Hey yo do you have sample build of your a1 r1 sap2 wugu2 canon build? I was planning to make one just want to see other’s build for some references. Thanks!

I put my remaining sapper points in detonate traps but claymore is more or less the same.
And I don’t regret getting R1 instead of A2, since I’m more str oriented, I feel like barrage and steady aim are helping more than swift step crit.

Is there any benefit going sapper c3 rather than wugu c2? Is there any huge diff of broom trap lvl5 vs lvl10?

At the moment I don’t think so.
The 5 level of broom traps are far behind any damage only Throw Gu Pot will add. (not even taking in account all other skills poison duration).

Collar bomb will be better and maybe if spike shooter is buffed (not sure there since I never tested it)

At the moment im building and archer this way:
231 dex rest into str

Archer Archer Sapper Sapper Ranger Falconeer Cannoneer

I am trying to aim towards AOE DPS (i just dont want to play mage for some weird reason even i dont know).

Archer will net crit buff + multishot lvl 10, which is a good ST damage and AOE with falconeer.

Falconeer also offers Phesant which is great for AOE burst.

Sapper for broom trap.
Ranger for Barrage and some weak steady aim, but still something anyways. Barrage is more of a filler in this build really.

Cannoneer for you know what.

Only problem in this build is grinding in area filled with flying mobs so broom trap becomes useless there but who cares about it.

Rogue requires a very specific build and needs a couple of minutes of preemptive setup to do well at world bossing

You go qs3 rogue1, you capture your party member’s ground dps skills like cure16, then you drop it on a boss with running shot active. All of the ticks from cure uses your physical damage instead of magic damage and can almost crit 100% of the time with sneak hit. Each tick also counts as an auto attack so they get buffed even further by running shot’s 2.8 multiplier.

The only problem with this is that the boss has to be completely still. If he moves out of your captured skill or turns around to face you, your damage is ■■■■■■. The setup time and success rate makes it pretty inconsistent, but when it works it does some insane burst, at least enough to net a cube.

The issue then from there is that once your capture nuke is expended, that’s it. You dps drops to nothing afterwards.

how does the Broom Trap scales?

Any high level sapper? what’s your broom trap damage?
what’s you maximum damage that ever saw?

lv 255 here. total str around 330 weapon +5 sup.wreech bow
broom trap lv5 attribute lv 30

hit enemy lv 230 around 1600-1800 dmg for non-crit hit

watch youtube canonner damage is weak , better go wugu3 or flet3

I see, still helps your DPS in terms of grinding? what’s your R5-7?

my archer is ar3>sap2>falcon1>cannon
at lv 200+ broom trap can’t swept all enemies by itself, but no aoe ratio restriction and can hit stationary target nearly 20 times(I counted it when try broom trap with plant enemy in alemeth) can help in dps and it’s a skill that you place it and can do other things.

cannoneer single target dmg can’t really compete with fletcher musketeer or even wugushi, but low cd and aoe is nice for group of enemies

How about a build like that?

Circling to give your AoE skills some buff. Hunter1’s Snatching to ground those flying Bosses down.

I see, really planning to create A2>SA2>Fletcher3, but im not sure if going to utility build A2>R>Sc>Fletcher3 is better, I just want to justify that the Broom trap will still going to be reliable at late game. as I havent reached lvl200 :frowning:

circling help those AoE skill that has AoE atk ratio make the skill hit more target in its radius(include those which have hidden AoE atk ratio like snipe/multishot), but doesn’t help with non-AoE or those AoE that can already hit everything in its radius.

Archer 2 Ranger Scout Flecther 3 is better Single Target DPS wise.
