A2+R3 vs A3+R2 for Falconer>Cannoneer

End game Cannoneer in mind

Would it be better to get A3 or R3

A3 has better multishot + twin arrows (low cd +high overheat). And multishot i heard it works good with circling

R3 has better barrage + spiral arrow (high crit but …high CD?) and bounce shot if that is good. Steady aim is just a few more % so i’m not sure about that

Which would work best with a Cannonneer PVE party mode. Main concern is whether the above said filler skills would be useful after I get my cannoneer rank. Or would another filler such as Scout or Rogue be better??

For instance

A3>R1>SC1/RO1>Fal1>Cannon
A2>R2>SC1/RO1>Fal1>Cannon

With falconer in the build I prefer archer3

Spiral arrow dmg is good but long cd, bounce shot dmg seem to fall off compare to cannoneer skills.

Why would you prefer A3 due to falconer? Is it due to multishot+circling?

If I were to choose A3, is there any further benefit by getting R2, or would another filler class such as rogue (feint+lvl 5 barrage) or scout (cloaking adventure) be better?

Circling+multishot still deal good dmg at late game

R2 provide an early aoe skill and a buff

Feint+barrage is good but I don’t think lv5 barrage can do much dmg at late game.

If you go ar3>x>x>falconer>cannon

Wugushi2 may be good too.

Because I’m currently at A2+R1, I’m thinking if R2 is worth it or should I replace it with a utility class such as scout. Currently trying out the skills and I find barrage to be a bit risky in a sense since I must shotgun with it

If R2 doesn’t provide much benefit, would Scout be better? Does that mean I wasted R1? If Ranger tree is wasted, would I rather be better off just going ahead with R3 then?

IMO falconer1 is lean toward PvE utility and scout1 lean toward PvP untility, so I don’t want to put them together.
But I think both ranger2 and scout still viable.

shotgun barrage is risk so with multishot+circling which require you time to cast circling wait for the effect while charging multishot(cirling aggro mobs if you don’t have tank to keep aggro or protect by something like safety wall you can easily interrupted)

I suppose my main AOE comes from Circling + Multishot & Cannon Blast
Main DPS comes from Cannonshot/Shotdown + Multishot/Barrage and Twin Arrow

Now that I think about it, if I will be using Cannonshot/Shotdown (which has 5 sec cd) as my main damaging skill, will I be able to fully utility the short CD and 5 overheat of Twin Arrow? Would I be better off spamming 3 waves of barrage instead + spiral arrow. Sorry if I’m asking too much questions im really torn.

Not sure if this will help but most of the time i will be duoing with a Swordman friend of mine.

I lack real experience about ranger skill so I can’t really help you much about ranger so I think It’s better to wait for those with real experience with rangerC3 in late game.

cannonshot/shotdown+twin arrow deal nice dmg you can rotate between these skill and there’ll only few sec interval when all those in CD, but this deplete your SP fast so you’ll need a lot of sp potions

i’m currently going for this build

Ranger C3 it’s good not just for Spiral and Bounce Shot but for Barrage lvl15 too, that thing deals tons of damage.

I think my main concern here is whether which path has better AOE and which path has better DMG.

And will any of the added skills be obsolete after i become cannoneer?

just look at steady aim 20% can do to your cannoneer skill damage.

if you look at it cannoner skill damage approximately gives you additional 400+ damage per additional level. and 20% of atleast lvl 4 of any cannoners skill give you a minimum of 800+ damage (not including the 20% of 300% and 150% yet there.)

how much would it be if you included the base damage which is 150% and 300% more.

Steady Aim lvl15 for cannoneers is like (additional 2 level on all cannoneers skills)
