A Wugushi > Mergen

Hey there, boys

This is my main character’s build. I’m already Rank 7-1 lvl10, and I’ll go into Mergen.

We are all used to the fact that Wugushis are Full STR Characters, but I’m starting to question if that’s going to be the case from Rank 8 onward. Pure damage from the 300+ lvl bows is pretty high, and the poison scaling really drops off after lvl200+. Since the poisons will not be my 100% main source of damage, I am thinking about re-rolling my stats for a 3:2 or 3:1 STR:DEX ratio.

With the new bows, I don’t think this will cause a huge drop in my poison ticks, but it will cause a big boost in my crit rate for my Mergen aoe spam skills.

Please let me know your thoughts!

not worth it, if you want to crit, as an archer, u go rogue, or high dex, see the crit rate formula

Critical Rate = (Critical Rate - Critical Resist) * 42 / Character Level

in the end its divided by your characters level so the higher level ur characters is, more dex u need, going 3/1 is really bad, going 3/2 may be viable with a lot of crit rate items, ellaganos cards, green gems lv 7 or 8, but still, i think u need to give up on dot damage, or crit rate, u cant have both, unless u are playing for fun and really doesnt care about best end game damage output.

Hello fellow Wugushi, this build looks good thou I will trade 1 ranger circle for Archer 2. Archer 2 provides more crit rate for your 3:2 or 2:1 stats while lv 10 multishot will cast faster and hit harder with circling.

I have a Archer 3 -> Wugushi 3 -> Falc 1 (going Mergen when rank 8 arrives as well). My STAT distribution so far has been 3:2 STR:DEX, which brought me to something like 355 STR and 155 DEX by level 277.

When I complete my 7 10 stars Elaganos cards, I’ll likely stay around 85% crit chance just by myself (not counting external buffs: monstrance, quicken, etc.), just by stocking up on gear: 2* Sissels, 3* Level 6 green gems, Red Veris Gloves, Max Petamion, 20ish crit rate from headgear (with swift step attribute).

So far, it hasn’t been a problem. I suppose given the higher level cap, I’ll need to focus on getting higher level gems on my equips and working on that extra ellaganos card. But that should suffice for a high enough crit rate, which can be capped by usual party buffs. So yeah, it’ definetely possible as of now to go on with such a build/stat disribution and still be an effective damage dealer.
