Is there anyone on the forum who has a good build for Peltasta?
A guide that is really good? I researched a lot, but since I’m young, I’m still afraid of going wrong.

There are plenty possibilities and paths that can involve Peltasta, but, that depends if you want many circles of Peltasta on your build, or just 1 for utility.
If you have any interest on possible rank 8 classes. Those would be good to know to recommend, or at least give you an opinion.

I was told that he is like a support class but I’m not sure of that. :confuso:
I think I would like a composition with enough resistance to take the front line, but people tell me different things and I end up getting lost and not knowing what to do…
Could it work as protection too?

Well, one of the biggest points on Peltasta is the skill Swash Buckling that provokes the enemies around you (with a limit according to the skill level) and turns their aggro on you. There is an important point though, you have to do some damage as well, to hold the aggro on you (but, that can be supplemented by later ranks). (I can’t get into much info about that, since aggro mechanics are not my forte)
Many DPS builds take Peltasta, at least one circle of it, to obtain the utility from SB (Swash Buckling), and, for the lack of some different classes that could help them with only a single circle (not the point here).
Considering what you said, yes, Peltasta has plenty of potential of being the tank character you would like, but, being a rank 2 class, you still have many other ranks to think about it too.
On a short answer for anything, of course.
Now, the point is how many circles, and what other classes you would pick with it, considering you want a full tank, I can see Peltasta 3-Rodelero 3, finishing it up with a Murmillo at rank 8, as a good pick, but, even so, there are still other choices (if you have any interest on making a Guild, the Peltasta3-Squire2-Templar is, or at least was, quite popular, and that is only an example of other possibilities).
This can be a pretty good topic to base off some of your doubts about Peltasta, and its possibilities (you don’t need to go for Murmillo, but, the lack of topics and guides makes necessary to go for whatever is available).

After the damage calculation changes, peltasta may become good, but right now not because anyone can become a tank simply by stacking a lot of DEF/MDEF.
Yeah sometimes there is a competiton in duns against some cyros about the tank spot …
cryo is better in cc but have limited time
pel swash have more range and can aggro more mob
it’s have a lot of time for setup combo
pel3 work well with plague doctor or any unlimited aoe (especially when duo)
in party 5man party play, cryo3 is definitely better than pel3
pel1 is filler and very useful in many swordman build
