A few questions about my Musketeer build (not machinegun)

The build itself -

My main question is, is the kneeling shot worth it to go into Archer c2? The dmg and attack speed buffs seem pretty nice, especially if i can position myself behind the boss with it. Its mostly a pve build, im just hoping to make it good enough to work late game, not planning on doing min-maxing or anything like that.
Also questioning the rank 6 pick, cant really decide between rogue and falconer. Falconer seems pretty cool and i probably wont be able to position myself behind the boss all the time, so it seems to be more solid overall.
Lastly about stats, im planning on going mostly into str, adding around 30-40 con around lvl 80-110, but since if i happen to pass up on rogue for rank6, how much should i invest into dex, if at all?

Beware that you can’t use skills in kneeling shot. Only auto attacks.

Since you are going to use skills-based builds I guess its not what you want.

Thanks a lot for pointing that out, but wont my autoattacks be decent enough to justify the pick? Since musketeer skills have quite long cooldowns, the ranger skills will probably eat up my mana pool quite fast and ill end up autoattacking quite often.

Kneeling Shot is only worth if you are goin QS C3 but Archer C2 is fine with Ranger and Muskeeter i’m building almost the same path but instead of Rogue i choose Scout. Rogue C1 is not that good get Scout or Falconer. Btw one of the best things about this build that i noticed is the amount of multi hit skills that you have if you get Multi Shot + Barrage + Spiral Arrow + Covering Fire it’s more than 60 hits and depending on how fast you cast you can cast this before Steady Aim goes off so DPS with this build is outstanding.

Get yourself SP potions and you won’t have any mana problems.

Your auto-attacks will be pretty meh if you are not QS3. So if it is the only reason you want A2 - don’t get it.

But there are some other reasons to get it. Swift Step will get much longer duration and most important it will get crit rate attribute on circle 2, which is really great.

Don’t get Scout if you are going PvE - it is for PvP.

Can’t say about Falconer, I don’t like it on paper, haven’t tested myself.

Also take a look at Fletcher, it is very popular class, especially for PvE.

Thanks a lot for the input, this will defo help a lot. The swift step crit rate attribute sounds really good, so i guess ill stick with A2. Was not so keen on Scout either since ill mostly be doing pve, and Fletcher doesent appeal to me, especially if its only 1 rank, so i guess ill stick with Falconer, since i was hoping to get more of a buffer class for rank 7. About stats tho, will low points in Dex, like 30-40 actually make enough difference to take or should i just go all Str with some Con?

Well stats is a big question. Generally speaking you need crits for skill caster build, but you could get a lot of crit rate from gear and gems.

Maybe 2:1 str:dex would work. Well if you could get like 4xlvl8 gems and crit rate gear you can get less dex  After all, it really depends a lot on other stuff you get (accessories chants, gear, gems and so on).

BTW also note that swift step will give you 25% bonus to crit rate, not crit chance. So if you have crit rate 0 you won’t get anything.

I see, i guess ill go with the 2:1:1 stat build then, since if i split Str and Dex, then i probably should just have gone Dex route. And as i said, im not planning on min-maxing or making the perfect build, just something that would work well enough in the later parts of the game. Dont wanna get to higher lvls and just see my character fall flat on her ass compared to others just because of the build. Really appreciating the tips and info!

Honestly chances are high that any build become bad because the game is very immature atm.

Okay, guess ill just go with it then. Thanks!

FYI rogue C1 isn’t a bad idea. Actually, feint+barrage works like a charm. (increased your barrage to 10 hits) and sneak attack increased your crit rate by 70% which is useful for your snipe skill.

I will think about rogue, i like it a bit more since its more of a personal buff that im looking for, but Falconer just sounds and looks cool…
