AGREEEEEEE!!!

I really donât think they know this. There would be a lot more costumes and hair styles available if they truly realized that this would be a huge money maker.

That is simply because, this is early access. I hope you realize that.
Every MMO releases more cash shop items along with content updates. Are you new to MMOâs or something?
it was to the discussion/context about what is a âfairâ price.
Yes. Very new to MMOs. 15 years of over 20 different MMOs new. Now stay on topic instead of trying to get personal.
I have one costume that I can purchase in the shop as a Swordsman. One costume. Do you really think that if they had a clue that cosmetics were a good source of money that they would only have one premium costume for the swordsman to choose from?
Iâm still waiting for BALD hair style⌠Almond Eyes and beard

@Skogarna This isnât a âdisgusting cashgrabâ feature. Itâs not really a cashgrab thing at all. Like the others said, itâs standard practise in MMOs. Iâm OK with companies doing this because they need to make money.
Sometimes I wonder if people understand just how expensive it is to cover the massive sunk costs involved in starting up an MMO, let alone keeping it going.
This isnât aimed at you, @Skogarna, but I also find it hilarious how so many F2P players fail to understand that the only reason they can play is that someone is paying their share. Unless you actually spend money on the game, you are a freeloader.
Nothing wrong with that. Not everyone has buckets of cash to throw around.
But wanting more inessential stuff for free, more convenience⌠all without contributing anything to game except more expenses for the server⌠thatâs just taking the piss. Companies can take the piss too, but thereâs a big difference between greed/cash grabs/game-ruining restrictions and standard practise to ensure the servers keep running.
Agreed, itâd be nice to have more costumes. But I donât see them doing that right now⌠atm theyâre focusing on things that are more important for the gameâs future like sorting out the gameplay issues both here and in Korea.
What game have you been playing then because I donât understand how it would make sense to you for them to have more premium items when they clearly have way more important problems to tackle first.
Do you not see the server stability problems?
The â â â â ton of bugs?
All the complaints about certain key decisions about the game?
It would be a PR nightmare for them to pump cosmetic items right now.
Please tell me an mmorpg where they release skins or cosmetic items before core game play.
Not sure why jimmies of OP are rustled. You donât have the cash to make several chars pretty? Just make one pretty. You donât know which? Wait.
You want to activate xp tome? Activate it. Donât buy 200 in reserve and then ditch the character or prepare to pay for carelessness in your planning.
You have been playing 15 years and still havenât realized that all cash shops are updated with content patches?
Yes, they have a clue. Cash shop costumes are released every so months in future patches. The game will have more items in the cash shop a year from now. All MMOâs release cash shop items along with content updates.
What kind of game are you playing where artists are double dipping as network and system programmers? Unless you can explain to me exactly what 2D/3D art assets need to be fixed right now, your argument is moot.
i agree, they will release costumes in time.
And again. nothing here is p2w. far from it. You will be able to buy enchant scrolls when your server is the winner of the week in guild battles. and to be fair, the cheapest way to get headgear with stats that match your class is the auction house. so everyone can get them.
the reason why they need to make the costumes/hairstyles expensive AND char bound is simple: lots of cheap a** freeloaders. As harsh as it might sound, f2p in the âwesternâ world depends on âwhalesâ and you need to milk them. because the average player spends next to nothing.
In asia you get much better average money per player. Take PSO2 for example. on average each player spends 30$ per month in this game. thats because asian players want to have the latest event costumes all the time. and those things are char bound too, once you equip them.
if IMC wants to survive in the western MMO world they need to milk the costume crazy guys (like myself). the only other solution is to sell power for money (p2w), because despite everyone complaining about it, all of a sudden many of those people will gather all their money to be able to compete. thats a big problem with the âstandartâ western MMO player.
Okay, what exactly do YOU want to see IMC to make their money on? Is their business model just tokens and enchant scrolls? Because having 6 class locked costumes and 4 hairstyles in the shop is not a positive sign that they intend to make their money on cosmetics. Can you count to 6? Itâs not a very big number.
Edit: kTOS has been released for 4 months and as far as I know, they donât have any more cosmetic items than we do. Video from February actually shows only 4 costumes and 4 hair styles. Again, I reiterate my question, what exactly is IMC planning to make their money from?
Hey, itâ has been 2 weeks of EA. Calm down take some chill pills be patient and youâll get more things to buy for TP. As people pointed out issues with the game come first, cosmetics and TP shop items will probably start popping up after F2P. Is that so hard to grasp?
Costumes donât bind, though, only hair styles and accessories since theyâre tied to character creation. Lobby Actions (emotes) are account wide, costumes can be resold after wearing them, and everything from the cash shop can be placed in your account storage. All cosmetics can be sold on the market to free players, or traded with other premium players.
Which, you know, gives them value to everybody currently playing. Youâre encouraged to buy a little or buy a lot. Whales can hunt for whatâs the most expensive/desirable, moderate spenders can get a couple things and trade for what they want, and free players can pay the whales. Everybody wins, especially Sega, so long as new costumes regularly come out.
hair that costs almost as much as a token shouldnt be bound to 1 character
how about u stop trolling? and stop being a kid?
Admit it, you want to trade premium items to teammates so that you can cross dress them!!

ive been playing games for more than a decade, and honestly, its the first time i see a game with restrictions llike this one, i bought the early pass, yeah, but i dont think ill spend any more if we can At least trasnfer items freely beetween chars, i found a great staff on my archer, first thought⌠transfer, pay for transfer and it losing potential? no thnx
