A disgusting cashgrab "feature", nobody for some reason seems to be complaining about

Basically right now, when we buy a premium item like hair, costume or even mere EXP tomes, it becomes attached permanently to a given character and therefore we are unable to transfer the item via team storage to the other family member of ours!!!

If we decide do ditch a character and create a new one, in case we wanted to have the same fancy hairstyle, we used to have on a first one, WE NEED TO BUY IT ONCE AGAIN.

I personally was eager to collect the female hairstyles but at this point, I’m wondering whether it makes sense for me to even buy any additional TP.

I’m wondering if any of you treat it as a problem as well. I personally would love to see it changed before the game goes f2p… :C

TP works with all members on your team. My Elementalist and Linker both have TP.

It’s called cash grab. But yeah, currently it is better to invest in tradable hair accessories and enchant them, rather than buying them from the TP shop

It’s like this for majority of f2p mmorpgs. If the game is already free and there’s barely anything to buy in the shop. You really want all your cash items to be transferable too?

I do not want to sound jerky but I’m afraid you have some huge problems with short text comprehension.

I mentioned transferring items BETWEEN THE SAME TEAM aka BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS CREATED BY THE SAME PLAYER. It’s impossible to do it right now.

Idc about selling premium item in the Auction House, to me it can stay as it is but I think, it’s unacceptable I cannot wear the same hairstyle on different character of MINE.

I don’t mean to sound jerky as well but just because you can’t comprehend what I’m saying doesn’t mean I can’t read.

Not sure if you’re new to f2p mmorpgs but most cash items tend to be bound to your character. It’s been like this for 10+ years.

I have no problem with this. My biggest complaint is no stat reset potion available for TP

If its been like that for some time doesnt mean it is good or acceptable in some cases. Especially in the game that promotes creating and re-rolling many different characters.

If you bought some premium vanity items on a character or used storage expansion function and then at some point you want to re-roll character because of reasons - your spent money will go down the drain.

As this guy said, cash items in most of korean MMORPG’s are character bounded. Just look at Nexon (MapleStory) or KOG Games (Elsword). They are P2W games and most of cash shop is character bounded, untradeable.

PD: I hopre this doesnt become a new P2W thing. I prefer to pay monthly than paying for extra features for a single character.

Well I guess you better decide on who you’re going to main then.

Thats not true, you share your TP with all your characters on the team.

I’m afraid you need to be more clear when you speak of such things, not everyone is familiar with every possible mmorpg available. That’s why I didn’t guess what exactly was on your mind.

Had you written about the item being bound to the character, instead of, let me quote you:

you would have saved us both time.

And even though this system is functioning like this in many other games, I disagree it should be the same in ToS. In my opinion it’s absolutely not backed up with any logic, just the developer’s will to milk off as much as possible.

It’s funny because this kind of thing actualy averts me spending cash. I want to buy upgrade for my storage box but I don’t know how long I’ll be playing on one char, so I don’t buy it.

Thanks, removed this part, hadn’t noticed it before.

u are just pretty stupid imo…
Exp Tomes are not p2w or cashgrebs… neither is anything else.

if u want to see a game that just wants money go Check Maplestory

WHAT THE FU CK

I hope you are just trolling, I just do not want to reconcile with the fact this community can really be that low as many people claim. But people of your kind just start slowly start to confirm me in this opinion.

So, let’s begin again…
HOW ABOUT YOU READ THE ACTUAL POST?

No one complains about it because there is nothing wrong with making cosmetic items to be bound to character it was bought for. This is a very standard and I’d say decent way of earning money from free to play game. This particular example with hairstyles is not even remotely close to a cashgrab and labeling it as such is laughable and selfish to a highest degree.

You could argue that costumes should be transferable, but hairstyles? And at the same time you’re fine with stuff like enchanting scrolls from cash shop that can give OP stats to your accessories? Alllright then…

It’s honestly ironic that you’re trying to shet talk me about short text comprehension when you lack just that.

The logic here is that every game is a business. I know that concept is hard to understand to you but just because a game is trying to make money doesn’t automatically make them money hungry grubbing nazis.

In order for the game to last it’s going to need ways to make money. With how limited the premium costume options right now it doesn’t make any sense to make it account bound instead of character bound because then people would have no reason to spend money after a certain period of time.

I hope I’m clear enough to you now. There’s a reason every f2p mmorpg does it like this and that is because it’s a way to get consistent income.

It’s a costume, you don’t need to buy it if you think it’s not worth your money. It doesn’t give you any advantages.
