Heh. I look at elsword and dragon nest. They have class reset.
Do people there tell people to change to the better class? NOPE.
Why? Because each class works in their own way. It’s MORE balanced than this crummy game. Even if people prefer the better dps classes, they don’t go around shouting retarded ■■■■like you are atm.
And before you say these two games are shitty games themselves, guess which ones have a bigger population, is more popular, and has lived longer.
Like you are free to hate on class resets and all, but why the hell are to tell me what I should do.
Team exp? That small bonus that doesn’t even make a difference is the benefit for rerolling? nty. i need to spend money for extra character slots for that. I might as well spend it on a class reset so that I don’t have to waste my time redoing all the boring beginning again.

I think you probably could… If you add a linker for Spiritual Chain and a fully equipped QS with Lv9 Running Shot. It’d be a fun comp to make.

imho, with Class Reset, player will be more free to test any build they like
currently, player just scared as hell to even choose rank/invest stat,
thus only copy-pasting any available guide in tosbase or forum…
1 mistake = 300hours or more wasted

Probably… Though class resets really does need to be an interesting system. I’ll be disappointed if it’s just a potion. Even if that is potentially wiping 10-100x million in attributes…
I think I’m totally going to make this build though. I might see if someone tested running shot and off hands first though… I bet the rogue players know.

elsword is pay to win, i played elsword for years, and elsword isnt a full fledged mmorpg, its a boss-rush + go from A to B while 1-hitting monsters on the way to a new map sorta game.
diablo2 isnt an mmorpg, its a casual hack+slash. stop comparing apples to oranges idiot
Pay to win or not, Elsword is still way more successful than this game.
Diablo 2 is relevant because it was one of the first videogames to have the concept if skill builds in the first place.

like I said, at the moment, information changed too fast, and to begin, information on skills is lacking as well…
not to mention, poor design, almost only meta skills useful…
atleast with Class Reset, first timer player can freely experience the game, then reset when they have more idea whats the game is all about.

p2w in the terms everyone likes to use it, is when you pay for things normal people cannot normally get like cash shop only gear that is really strong.
Elsword has no such thing. While yes, paying for enhancement protection makes getting a stronger weapon easier, a regular person can get the same type of gear by spending more time in the game, doing events, and playing the market.
As such, Elsword is not p2w. it’s p4c.
it doesn’t matter if Elsword isn’t an “mmorpg” in the conservatist mindset. The fact that you are roleplaying as a character in a game and that you can mingle with many other people online is enough. You can argue that ToS isn’t an mmorpg as well, but it doesn’t matter.
What matters is that Elsword was able to incorporate class reset and be fine even when there are “meta” classes in the game while still have MANY people have MANY alts and class diversity. The best part about that? Elsword has little to no incentives for making alts. The only thing that comes to mind is more storage space.
