C’mon, it is not like this is hapening just now. The game is really buggy, 2800 magic defense monster, unstable by a lot, bots, cheaters, channel crashers, some content from patch notes do not get in the same time, and look, we are still playing this game.

Fleeing from a place and getting expelled by the administration are different things. This case belongs to the latter. IMC wants us to quit.
I was going to make a thread about that, looking for a game with a similar class system or at least have a class like Bokor/Sorcerer/Necromancer with decent ai pets. When I find it I ain’t gonna play ToS anymore.

I think IMC just want to earn money so this thread is a good warning (already 300+votes, i am sure IMC noticed) if we can follow up and make our choices more evident by not using this gamble system even once, they will have to just accept that we are different from the asian market and they’ll need to adapt to our standard!
I beg you guys, even if you’re tempted from new hats/whatever, don’t give it in, do it for all the other players! Whales, you can still be whales if gacha don’t take place. you will even be more happy because you won’t have to gamble each time and just get what you like each time you want!

To correct that: IMC wants to earn money for something they dont deserve a penny for. Could start with how horribly wrong basically everything went, but thats something for other threads. IMC’s greed will be their ultimate downfall.
Gachas are pretty ■■■■■■■ retarded. I miss the days when I could just buy the things I wanted instead of gambling for them. Actually, what I miss even more is just buying games and earning whatever ingame content there was to be earned without getting out my wallet every 5 minutes. But, whatever. They’re still selling the C3 costumes and those are the only ones I’m ever interested in. Maybe the whales will quit and the game will die, or maybe their gambling addiction will kick in and the game will prosper.
Probably IMC is gonna stop to release C3 costumes or start to release them very very slowly, more than ever.
Absolutely hate gachas and think they are one of the scummiest forms of monetizing in video games.

Meme’s aside though, I liked it as it was. Slightly overpriced, but when I felt like it I’d just drop IMC $10 because why not. Nowhere near the enjoyment I had in Splatoon being in that I splat therefore I am; but in its own rights I respected it enough to show I care to use a small amount of my paycheck to future propositions.
Honestly all IMC needed to do to increase revenue was to release some god damn sales when they needed money. Legitimately we haven’t had a sale since March and I think if people saw the cost of TP go down regularly within a cycle that IMC would naturally be able to generate more money than they would with a gacha system.
This would go along more with mindgames; But I guess Koreans want to play on sin than to play on what people hold as value. Not to mention it being a practice that most MMOs popular or unpopular do. You’d think with Lord Gaben supporting them they’d think a sale or two would be the right way, lol.
