5-man Party Size Limited Class Variaties

Not trying to be negative, but as long as cookie cutter builds remain plain better/more desired than the unusual builds i think it will just come to the same result as it is now, just with more people per party. Lets say we have 12 people parties:
Instead of including non-cookie cutter builds (like non-peltasta swordis, since this is the one usually brought up) i’m pretty sure most parties will stay with the estalished easymode party config and just stretch it out to 12 people, like
-2 healers
-8 aoe ele/archers/chronos
-2 pelt swordis for mobbing
and refuse anyone else who doesn’t flal into these categories.

While i have nothing against bigger parties i think the problem is that non-cookie cutter builds are less desired than the usual builds in terms of dps and/or utility, which is the main thing that needs to be fixed.

Also, having 3+ Chrono 3s in a 10+ people party would probably be pretty broken (constant Pass spam).

The OP idea is quite rough and it may be extended:

For example 5-man pt get 100% exp and 8-man pt get 60% exp like queuing exp bonus mechanism, so it also somehow encourages ppl to form 5-man pt. Of course, the idea can be extended.

And not everyone must refuse some non-meta builds, it’s quite boring for me to often play with constant builds for a long time.

The pt size limit isn’t definitely only solution to solve class balance, tweaks(nerf/buff/etc.) are still needed.

BTW, i don’t argue anymore cuz i don’t think imc must accept this kind of suggestion and class system isn’t already appealing to me.
