15th of Sept - kCBT3 Patch [Huge necro buff]

A quick updated summary of the changes:

Necromancer changes:

  • 300 corpse limit, and all corpse types have been merged into a universal type.
  • You can collect the corpse of all enemy types (previous limitation on Demon type enemies).
  • Dirty Wall removed, [Dirty Pole added. Here is how the skill looks like.
  • Dirty Pole effects: Places a totem of flesh in front of you, dealing damage when summoned (but not continually). Lasts for 22 secs (+2 per level) and causes Corruption for 15 secs (+1 per level). According to the tooltip, it applies Corruption if the enemy is close to the pole.

Battlefield (Team 5v5 PvP) adjustments:

  • Levels and equipment of every participant are standardised.
  • Spectators can no longer use skills. You cannot use Pardoner’s
  • Dispeller scrolls in Battlefield. Corrected bugs with Scout’s
  • ‘Cloaking’ and Druid’s ‘Telepathy’ in PvP.

Instance Dungeon adjustments:

  • Minimum levels for entry have been added to each dungeon. Maximum of
    5 runs per day (recent update, used to be 3).
  • Limit resets at 9am KST currently.

Stat Increase per Rank Up:

Miscellaneous changes:

  • NPC added to Fedimian’s Mercenary Post, it has nothing to do with
    instance dungeons. This allows you to accept Party
    Quests.

  • EXP Gain from enemies in Quest Scenarios decreased.

For every previous class you’ve attained, 10% of your STR and INT stats will be added to your total (however, the STR and INT bonuses of your equipment and skills do not affect this)

Well, each rank or class? That’s an important detail.
It’s quite a pity they gave up and completely removed the types for corpses,

Necro is playable, yay!

Maybe Corpse Tower and Raise Death will be his Cirscle 2 skills?

Alos, now Sorcerer’s summon will drain SP even after Morph’d!! This is a huge nerf/fix.

So if everything is standardised in PvP why would I even level up.

I don’t like it, I want MMO PvP, not a MOBA.

Higher leveled + High equip classes are always best players… meh

Not always but yes, they should have an advantage for dedicating more time into the game.

If I wanted completely even field I would go play league of legends or something.

facedesk I’m starting to wonder if translations were made specifically to have so many innuendos :confused: still, nice buff for Necro but how is its summon AI?

FTFY. :rice_cracker: Guess it’s also worth noting I disagree 100%. PvP should be determined by player skill rather than who has the least responsibilities in life.

[/quote]To gain stat points? (standartized level probably is only about base stats, not the points from leveling, you wouldn’t even have time to alocate points at the start of the match)
To gain skill points? (more/stronger skills)
To gain Ranks? (more/stronger skills)

You post like a level 100 player would be on equal footing with a level 200 player, which is obviously not true.

About standartized equipments, I am completely in favor of it. Any PvP arena should be normalized, not based on who is the richest guy (either in game or real life).

Idk if equipment special effects will be locked, but if not, this will still make the effort to get rare itens worth it. Otherwise there is PvE, where instanced dungeons need good gear.

Initially i wanted to play necro, but the system was inconvenient… so I slowly lost interest. This is good news, now I can’t decide what class(es) to play anymore haha. Thanks for sharing, DiscKZee. :blush:
