Zombie bokor/zealot help

Hello guys,
I was looking on getting back into the game after a long pause and wanted to start from scratch with something peculiar.

I’ve found a “concept” of a build that looked quite fun to me( I always liked summoner classes, but didn’t want to go for the typical necro/sorc). Which is the zombie bokor in combo with zealot.

The base build would be C2-B3 and then Z2. Full spr ,working around zombies and blind faith.
So, my questions are…is it somehow viable in the end game ? I know it isn’t absolutely meta, but even if it’s not the best, i just want something fun to play.

And second…what could i put in the two missing ranks to complete it ?

I have a Bokor Zealot, and I picked oracle 2, to have more Sps, then have more power with blind faith^^

Oracle doesn’t seem like a bad idea.

What skill do you use beside Arcane energy ?

Also, do you know any other possibility ? Just to evaluate some options xD
Since I’m not much updated about the endgame and so on, i don’t know much what could be useful or not.

personally I think it’s a waste to go bokor3 with full SPR because Damballa is for INT. Better off just going bokor1 for 8 zombies, then using the 2 ranks for diev2 for owls, but might need Miko.

Well, in theory an higher level mean also more damage for the zombies ( even if i don’t know the exact values)
Plus i wouldn’t really go for c3 for only damballa. There is also oguoveve at c3 and samediveve at c2. Damballa is an extra.

I’ve been playing an all spr bokor 3 priest 3 zealot 2 build and I can’t wait to change it. I hate auto attacking and burn through sp way too fast to keep it up.

Want to be a zombie master then xealot isn’t the way to go. Instead I’m saving up gems for a rank reset and going to go cl2/bok3/druid3/pd1

See the zombie damage goes up when it is hexed. Plague doctor spread disease will expand the weak hex spell to everything around.

Going spr will keep your non zombie damage minimal. I originally thought priest and Chaplin but I hate auto attacking.

Might not go druid not sure what else to put in there. I solo so don’t care about support.

I’ve been unhappy with zealot for spr zombie. Gonna use it for my all str paladin build though.

Damballa isn’t for INT…

INT, on a character with max level and a good weapon, makes up for about 1/6 or 1/7 of your total matk.
This means that full INT has at best 20% more damage with Damballa.

The question is,though, if the player actually has enough skillpoints for Damballa.

with Hexing & Effigy already having a high skillpoint cost, I actually wouldn’t be surprised if someone would skip the skill in favor of others(e.g. more skill-levels of Bwa Kayiman/Samediveve/Zombify).

And, to be honest, I wouldn’t want to go without Effigy, even on a physical build.

C2>Bokor3>Paladin2>Zealot2

Paladin provides the Class attribute for Two-handed Mace, and at C2, Turn Undead can convert monsters to become your minions (they are also influenced by your SPR) with the Turn Undead: Conversion attribute.
You also get another AoE skill (Demolition) and Smite as a physically-based filler attack for either CC (with knockdown attribute) or extra damage when the other skills are on CD.

Since you’re SPR-based, Turn Undead also gets a boost in the chance to kill devil&mutant type monsters.

Mmmhh…i see. But doesn’t Paladin use STR for the minions ? At least the skill say so in the wiki, but maybe it’s outdated.

That said it could be a valid option too for the build…at this point i wonder if i should just go the typical bokor-pd build with INT and mainly use the zombies for “flavour” and meat shield.

Damn, so hard to decide!

STR only adds a flat bonus attack which is then subject to multiplication via SPR-boost.

Hi my friend! This is my build, but the one with Paladin and i love It! Full SPR, good Damage and support with Cleric and Paladin skills. A lot of fun.
