both, use weapon swap, cast finestra with zega spear weapon swap to geras and start throwing the spears.
Finestra will still be retained when zega is swapped out?
pretty sure it is, and if its not 20 crit rate isn’t better than 100% damage. At least when you spam spear throw.
I heard geras spear is reduced to 50% extra damage together with the three hits patch though.
still stronger than zega.
If its comparing to Brandish?
50% damage is still stronger than 20 more b ase damage.

The 50℅ isn’t as relevant once you have dragoon skills though, brandish, maga or a 2h spear would make a lot more sense there.
You don’t lose the finiestra buff when changing from zega to any other spear, nor does its level decrease.
this. For a build like yours i’d consider putting finestra gem in the zega spear and swapping between zega spear and maybe cata pike or cripple
