Zealot and Zealot Costume Quest Questions

I’m running C2-Kriv3-Druid2-Zealot (eventually Zealot3) right now, and I’ve run into a bit of trouble. Originally the idea behind this build (recommended from someone) was supposed to have synergy with Melstis and Immolation/Divine Illusion. However after reaching Zealot1 and trying it for myself, I find that Melstis does not actually work with Immolation at all. WTF!

So, seeing as how Immolation & Divine Illusion are similar skills, I’m worried that when I get to Zealot2, I’ll find out that Divine Illusion ALSO doesn’t work with Melstis. “Why the hell did I even go Krivis then!?”

Needless to say, I’m worried about this build now…

Additionally, I have a question about the costume quest. Specifically, when does it reset? I’ve read "Mondays and Fridays’, but I don’t know what that means. There seems to be multiple resets that happen around the day (dungeon/event resets, and challenge mode/other resets).

So to restate the questions;

  1. Did Melstis previously work on Immolation? Why doesn’t it now?..
  2. Is Melstis going to work on Divine Illusion still?
  3. What time specifically do the quest resets for the Costume quests happen?

Oh hey, I’m making the same build right now - still only at Druid1, so not exactly helpful here, but I think Melstis is also to prolong our transform, so you need it regardless of what it does to Zealot-skills. …That said, I’m worried now, too.

Also for me the costume quests seem to reset Monday upon server rollover (event reset time). Not sure if there’s another reset in there somewhere; that’s the only one that seems to happen to me.

Melstis increases duration of your buffs. Immolation is a debuff on enemies, not a buff, so melstis does not extend it. Melstis will extend your fanatacism and fanatic illusion, which are the main reasons why people like krivis3+zealot3 (although imo it’s a waste).

Fanatic illusion is a buff, so yes.

They happen at 12:00 on Mondays and Fridays (twice a week only).
