I dont think it should be a instant ban like the Bots, since they do it just for some time, maybe buying a better piece of gear, stats for pets and stuff like that.
It’s a problem, but should be handled in another way, a human way since they’re not just a program like bots.
Just think about it, u started the game, no money, no levels, no gear, no girlfriend, and after a few hours playing, u decide to use the Z-Botting to get a new shield in the next session, u got the shield and u come back to play the game, and in this day u wont use Z-Botting, probably never use it again because in highler levels this just doesn’t work.
Or maybe you were grinding with your loved pet and something requires ur attention, phone, facebook massage or whatever and your pet kills something, it’s not a toxic behavior at all.
Of course there’s a few cases of players abusing this function, but doesn’t means that they’re all the same.
I recommend a new report function “Potential toxic behavior” or something like that, and if the player receive a X number of reports, he’ll receive a massage from a GM or maybe a System message indicatiNG him/her to not use this function for AFK-farming.
Probably the player wont do it again, but if he does it again he’ll receive a new message saying that he’ll have a few debuffs like “Toxic player” or something like that and he wont be able to enter dungeons, or whatever our wonderfull staff think is worth for maybe a few days.
But if the player do it a third time and get reported, he’ll go to some kind of trial where players will have acess to this player reports and can inno him from all charges or they can say that he’s guilty and he’ll be banned for a few days (to think about his/her toxic behavior) and the fourth report is a permanent ban on x server.
The thing is : humans can improve their behavior and become great players, machines can’t.
I believe that Tree Of Savior is a wonderfull game and has a wonderfull community, but it’s players needs to focus on whats good instead of blaming for everything that doesn’t work, remember, its a Beta version, not the Final product.
