Your thoughts on Cleric AA build?

I came up with these two builds that are AA based (one of them more than the other). Any advice?

This is a SPR DEX (~Bonus stat STR) Cleric Build
Got Both Sanctuary and Demolition, Can I proc Sanctuary then switch to Two-Hand Weapon while still maintaining it?

This is a SPR INT(~Bonus stat DEX) Cleric Build
This is more AA based.
The SPR will help me with Zealot’s mana drain and increase my AA damage via Priest + Chaplain spells.
Since Daino switches my AAs from Patk to Matk, I thought that going SPR and INT would be better and some DEX for attackspeed (Side Note: Daino won’t let me crit).
Got 1 Circle Paladin for Two-Hand Weapon passive.

I tested Zealot but just can’t get the correct feel for AA builds.

Your other build is actually quite ok since Daino and Aukuras complements AA build…but…the problem with priest AA build is lack of AoE since you probably can only AA 2 or 3 mobs at the same time. However this can fixed with taking Inquisitor and max breaking wheel + spread damage attribute instead of Paladin at Rank 9.

My current AA cler build is this. CappaKrivis Full Int.
So, now, when blessing from shops are doesn’t has hit count u actually don’t need spr, blessing or sacrament.

With krivis ur AA damage is purely based on M atk, so more int=more damage(duh, sorry i’ve been too much of captain obvious) and u getting 150 AS from daino attribute.

Also Inq 1 is too good for AA builds, cuz:
1)Malleus Maleficarum increases damage from all ur lines;
2) Wheel is too damn good for AOE cleaning with attribute to skip;
3)Burn attribute: after killing mob there is chance(1-20% depends on lvl of attribute) to create fire which reproduces all ur lines of damage.

Yea seems like AOEs are really important… kinda testing another AA build atm :S

i’m still running with five hammer(5 reds lvl 5) cuz of 5 aoe attack ratio.

Having 3 centaurus cards really helps for the KrivChapQuis build.

What armors do you use?

Manahas set ofc. :prince:

Does the additional lines from Manahas benefit from the buffs?

Yes, it’s benefits from buffs and elemental damage lines on headgear/weapon/shield.

My Full AA Zealot Build that decimates Bosses.

Cleric C2 > Priest C3 > Chap > PD > Zealot 2

Full SPR

Blind Faith + Fanaticism + Last Rights = Amazingly Fun.

Optimal Auto-Attack builds (IMO):

C1 - Priest3 - Chap - X - X - Inquis1 - Zealot1

  • Needs Inquis1 for Burn, Inquis2 isn’t needed.
  • Zealot1 offers additional property damage from Immolation, and added attack line damage from Fanaticism. Invuln is nice to have, Beady Eyes is only if you want to dabble in pvp. Good for the attribute.
  • Flexible build, can put whatever you want in ranks 6 and 7.

C2 - Krivis3 - X - X - Zealot2

  • Krivis3 for meltsis and daino. Daino15 with the added lines attribute is comparable to Chaplain. One less attack line, but boosted attack speed and guaranteed magic hit. Aukuras 15 with goddess of fire for added attack damage. Divine Stigma for a DoT and stat boost.
  • Also very flexible, ranks 6 and 7 are free choices.

C1 - Priest3 - Chap - Krivis3 - Inquis1

  • Putting this back on now that Daino interaction with Breaking Wheel is ‘fixed’.
  • This is the ‘All In’ Auto-Attack build. Provides support with Priest3 depending on what skills you get. Melstis along with all of your buffs makes this a solid choice.
  • Not much utility beyond offensive buffs, Revive and Resurrection.

Does Krivis’s Daino actually provide additional attack when leveled? It seems to me like leveling only increases duration. Wouldn’t it be better to level Aukuras instead for an additional auto attack buff for its fire property damage?

You will need Circle3 Attribute to Daino: Additional Attack to get the extra line of attack for main hand only. Increasing levels only increase the main hand basic attack speed (no increase in skill speed/offhand) and duration.

AA clerics level daino for its attack speed, +150 attack speed at level 15 is around level 6 quicken from Chronomancer. Faster attacks = more lines incurred = more damage output per second.

Aukuras’ Fire elemental damage boost is conditional. It only affects Magic attacks and spells, meaning for AA clerics’ autos it affects the Main hand attack + the daino additional line of attack. It doesn’t add to sacrament/enchant fire lines as they are additional elemental damage lines which aren’t magic/physical.

So you take daino levels only for the attackspeed then? even Right now I have only lv 1 in Daino and lv 15 in Aukuras, and it gives me 1371 extra fire damage on magic attacks, which seems considerable.

Is it more valuable to have a high attack speed on Daino or to hit harder with Aukuras? I imagine maxing Daino would be better for true AA builds who value attackspeed, but since my character is an INT casting plague doctor, I probably would prefer to have Aukuras.

Mine too is a hybrid caster / AA type build, hence I go with the lv7 Daino, lv8 Aukuras approach.

Level 7 Daino with attributes and Meletis give 100% uptime on Daino (with a few seconds of leeway) while Level 8 Aukuras give around 1k fire elemental damage. Not too bad imo to split it like that.

good idea. I might do the same with my remaining skill reset pot. I like both of these abilities a lot and it’s annoying to have to choose one over the other.

A few nitpicks:

  • Aukuras Fire property dmg affects only daino’s main hit and Aspergillum.
  • Daino’s 2nd hit scales from your total dmg dealt on your first hit, which aukuras’s added fire dmg. But it does not double dip beyond that point.
  • Sacrament and Last rites are magic holy additional dmg. But neither Aukuras nor Transmit Prana boost their damage…

I just ignored zaibas instead, got plenty of skills to use already.

+1 it’s already hard to press Z/Triangle/Y button. :tired:

Edited my post to include the ‘Meta’ AA build again. Now that breaking wheel is just a one-to-one interaction, as it should be, I think the build is good but not necessarily the best depending on your playstyle.
