Another Tree of Bug, WTF!
1 character = 1 byte so you can’t type more than 150 characters in a single shout msg (including space and everything).
That’s not a bug, they limited the max length of shout msg because very long shouts used give the client sudden fps drop spikes.
I’m not going to judge if that’s really the best way or not to optimize chat fps spikes but that’s the way they chose to implement.
I’ve tried that too… “T>[linked item] for manamana, PM” nothing happens…
Probably the link is taking too many bytes.
Is it a bug or is it intended ?
Now that he mentioned it, the linked item is probably taking the 150 byte limit which could be considered a bug.
The 150 byte limit itself isn’t a bug, but the item link taking more bytes than it should probably is.
