Less time consuming but less silver income, cubes and drops.

The huge exp boost will prolly make people want to run full or partial dungeons now.

My biggest concern is if they actually bring this bunch of exp to us. They never give us the five time limit.

I think it’s a very welcoming change for us, at higher levels people only do dungeons for cubes and silver, with the boost we may expect to see exp as one of the reasons as well.

The change is recent so let’s wait for now.

We never got 5 runs because it seems it was planned to be reduced anyway.

Wonder how impacful the exp boost is gonna be, we already can make new alts level really fast thanks to Exp Bonus stacking and Dungeon Clear vouchers.

This may affect koreans on the speed they generate silver. Which is good for the overall game economy.

Yeah, seems these changes, also the 290 boss silver drop reduction, are mean to control the speed in which Silver (currency) is created in the game.

I may spend a good while talking, but i believe this video could help better

You mean it reduces the speed at which silver is created for normal legit players while keeping it the same for bots and RMT.

This is a joke.

Thats not how economics work /o/

Edit: You may want to rewatch the video

It is, because most bots aren’t doing dungeons every day to generate their silver, they’re botting outside in the world. So yeah, he’s actually correct lol.

Bots farmed silver (Currency) is locked to those bots and RMT buyers. Which are a factor outside of the normal population economy. Also the RMT population is extremely lower than the Casual player base.

The currency farmed by the casual player is injected into the market, fluctuating prices and affecting every aspect of the game. If you can control how much a casual player can produce, it also controls how much it can spend. Slowing down the inflation.

Not even close to being true. They drive in crazy amounts of botted accounts far surpassing any player and money launder through the AH with items. It’s been happening since day 1 of launch in over what must be over double the player base’s numbers because they cycle in new accounts all the time to cheat the system.

Do you think IMC has done a good job with their trade restrictions and the auction house limiting to control inflation? Those bots I’m talking about bypass every single one of them so it’s not going to affect them like the other person said before me.

You’re stating these things which just aren’t true in reality. The RMT impacted the market and inflated it from day 1 with Digele through manipulation of IMC’s own genius auction house restrictions. And I’m sure the economy is not better now than it was 6 months ago with inflation.

These things don’t work and just put band aids on ulcers.

Well, it is better =3=.

Restrictions are being removed.

And i’m quite curious where are you getting your idea that RMT’ers are so many, it sounds over exagerated.

The game is introducing new ways for people who desire to SPEND irl money to do so in a legit way. The game is moving, it isn’t on a totally dead state as you are making it sound.

I know doomsday talking is quite easy to jump into, so keep it calm.

From the last “expert” in MMO statistics. I mean you could just go in game and see how many bots there are compared to players for yourself too. They keep them cycled in and out to manipulate the markets and launder silver for when accounts get banned. It makes things harder to trace back to the source so they slowly do it through many transactions in over thousands of accounts all automated.

I refuse to believe this game gets around 100,000 players every month logging in for an hour or two then quitting. They are bots using these methods to money launder and manipulate the economy also bypassing trade restrictions in the process. They send in sheer numbers for small gains over mass quantity. That’s why you see massive bot trains in the lower level areas at times.

Plus just go Google the RMT websites to see how many. I’m sure there’s not a shortage of them and silver in their coffers. People can buy tons of silver off them and then it goes straight back into their pockets once someone buys something they have control over in the market like bracelets ect.

Not only that but people have been exploiting ways to make TP since day 1 too which also ruins everything. So none of this will fix anything at all again just making actual players miserable at a last ditch effort currency sink.

@haukinyau0 I mean, you keep missing the point on mmo mechanics, can’t really take you seriously.

@ophiuchu Yeah that post explains what i’m saying. You are removing the idea that casual players exist.
