To the players telling:
You need to read the patch notes more carefully. This is BS, the player dont need to read nothing, stop put work on the player side. The player just need to play, and be happy. Stop this rhetoric.
I know he is complaining, but dont make it appear that is the player job know what is going on all the time. Just as bugs, some players think every player know what new bug or crash is happening, when most part of the players just want to play, and barely come to the foruns, specialy the ones that dont speak english. Stop putting the dirty under the carpet.

Even if they dont announced properly on your perspective, the fact is that any MMORPG can suffer sudden maintenance. (For example, would be better to have closed the server right when the servers started to crash, instead let it go on, then just ban some random players, many that dont even knew what was going on with the server).
Even STEAM itself make maintenance on the weekends. This is normal. Just go enjoy other games, test new ones, or make something good to yourself that dont envolve games.
Maybe you could add that Token players maybe diserve a better reward after the maintenance, since they paid (or someone paid for them) to be Vip and play for a period, and this maintenances consume a little part of this period. On this case, your are right. Still, its better to let they work, than to complain about they doing nothing, or when do, just ban some random players expecting everybody to believe they did the right thing.
