While I agree that I am not to happy these items made it into ITOS, I guess Iāve gotten to where I am in game w/o them. Hell, my gear for the most part is sub-par mostly because I have 14 Alts, so my money has been spent across them.
As far as PvP is concerned I can see that side, but in the end (and in my opinion) pvp is an after thought. Something to do to kill some time for fun. There are so many better games for PvP.
Then we have the PvE side which again, hate to say it as much as I love ToS, there are much better alternatives as well, just none that fill the niche Iām looking for. Hence why I stick with ToS. Iāve had very little trouble getting to near 330 w/o these items. They seem like theyāre nothing more then RNG convenience to me. Sure, they make things slightly easier, but again. It was never really hard to begin with.

I understand peoples disappointment and Iāve always tried to stand in the middle on most things besides when the Hue-Brigade is just out for the lulz, but it all seems so; whatever.

I donāt knowā¦ It may not get that bad if they keep only the 1st generation. But I think Klaipedia will be taking a hit regardless just from the basic gacha.

I expect to get the same feeling I had when I played other P2W games if they go full kToS here. Queue up for a dungeon, expect a bit of a hard fight. But then get a heavy P2W player and they carry. Not because theyāre skilled or dedicated but because they paid the most.
There has to be something more then just paying money to be the best. At least for me or I just lose interest.

World of warcraft with horrible graphics was number 1 for 13 years āofficiallyā? I wonder about that because some asians mmo never translated seem to be a bigger success but only asianwise while outnumbering world of warcraft?
Eve online was also one of the biggest monsters and very innovative.
The secret world is kind of niche, people prefer fast food games sadly.
Final fantasy 14 sold large millions of copies and 6 millions of suscribed players at july 2016 .
I wonāt go in details, but itās only recently with season pass, founder packs, alpha stage, crap and dying before official release + extremely fickle customers, only the strongest can pull their weight.
Yea the market is over saturated for sure. But i thought ToS being unique would get it some where but you know, IMC.

I can empathize. Though I wouldnāt have bothered if the plan was P2W from the start.
And I think ToS had a niche. A big nicheā¦ But they screwed it up with the early release. The numbers show that.
You know thatās the problem toā¦ We have this huge niche that needs to be filled by a quality Korean style MMOā¦ or a game like RO graphically. And Korea just screws it up when they try and westernize every damn time. They have gold but they screw it up.

Yea if it was i would never have touched the game, but you know hoped for the best, received the worst.
For example, Iād like Grim dawn to become a real mmo, but the universe is as disturbing as Silent hill ambiancewise.
