Xbox One Controller Not Working

Hello, I recently upgraded to Windows 10, and I bought an Xbox One Controller for Windows (it comes with a USB cable). Because the new Chatpad works for Windows 10, I am also using that as well. When I launch ToS it seems the game freezes whenever I plug in my Xbox One Controller, but it would immediately recover if I unplug it. I played iCBT with my old Xbox 360 wired controller for PC, and it worked just fine. I put it in to see if it would work again, and it worked again just fine. However, when I unplugged it and put the Xbox One Controller for Windows in, a few buttons worked and then it froze again. I’ve also tried it without the Chatpad connected and that doesn’t work either. However, I noticed when I boot the game up with it connected, the Chatpad seems to have some functionality, as the enter key is recognized as confirm.

Is this a bug? Or is there no support for the Xbox One controller?

I don’t have an xbox one controller but I use the Xbox 360 usb controller. And I had to install one app from microsoft to work properly. Check on their website! Might have one for your version.

Thanks for your reply @vitortaranto ! I installed Xbox Accessories to update my Xbox One Controller when I first got it, so I already have that one. If it is something else, might you know the name? Thanks!

I have the same issue here, i have 2 xbox one controller and none of them work, if i log in on the game with it pluged i can’t use the mouse, if i plug the controller after the game is running the game freeze.

tried everything. Wireless, wired etc. Nothing works

I have the same problem, the controller work properly in other games (emulator and pc games), but with tree of savior the game no work.

hello guys, i found a simple fix, try removing the controller vibration on the setting in game… i have this problem whenever i kill monster it stop responding and i need to restart my PC just to make it work again

Solution: uncheck Controller Vibration on setting in game
