Xbox One controller doesnt work!

when i connect my xbox one controller to the game. the whole game freezed. when i plug out the cable the game come back. how do i fix that problem?

I have that problem too. I found a way to fix it. plug your controller then uninstall the driver via device manager then restart you PC then connect the controller. hope that helps.
