Ever since the closed beta last year, I have always been able to plug in my corded Xbox controller and start playing. Everything worked just as it was supposed to and it was great! Now Sunday I turn the game on and half the buttons either don’t do what they are supposed to.
A is now auto attack. B is now Jump. X is now “Talk”
Pressing R1+R2 no longer sits. It doesn’t do anything at all.
What is the worst though is when you press L2+ any button to use your additional skills, nothing happens.
I have tried to reinstall the controller/driver, restart the game, when I go to controller settings, it still shows that all the buttons are default even though they actually are not doing what it says they are supposed to. so that can’t be the issue. None of these things have fixed it. I have also tried the game pad on other games and it works properly.
I don’t know what else to try. I really like this game but trying to play without a controller is not nearly as fun and feels like a totally different game.
