Wugushi + Mergen - a little help here, please! :)

My friend play an archer. Her plan is a3 > wu3 > fal1 > mer1.
This path is ok? Can we change something to make it better?
She mostly pve. (sr for my English)

Wugushi can play very well with high DEX builds. People seriously need to stop saying wugushi NEEDS STR. You can, like other people said, make up for the ā€œflawsā€ with hats with phys attack, transcend your weapons, and high leveled red gems. When weapons gives over 2~3k phys attack, you don’t need STR to really play wugushi.

What will happen in the future is that more and more weapons will have even MORE physical attack, and people will go somewhere near stage 8~9 transcendence, but anyways, i see you already have a scout c2 now, so this may not matter to you anymore, but i just wanted to make sure you know that you won’t be bad compared to a STR wugushi if you equipped yourself right. Personal experience.

Cheers!

wugushi c3 ou c2?? what the diference? really need the c3?

Thank you so much!
I was really looking for an answer like this from wugushis (with personal experience)! Actually I’m levelling my scout up just to make sure which one I like the most for my falc-mergen. They are both 160~ now and still can’t decide between the two of them… I like wugushi for it’s power in boss fights (i was a little disappointed about the throw gu pot aoe) and scout for it’s versatility (lack of aoe too). I need to get scout3 before I decide since wugushi3 won’t make such a big difference… I just wanna pick the one that will help me the most in the future (i mean, even at rank 10). I don’t know if their damage will fall off by then or how hard it will fall, so it’s been kinda hard for me to pick one

I was only taking wugushi3 to increase Needle Bow, Wugong Gu and Throw Gu Pot, since Jincan Gu seems a little dispensable…

A1>R3>Wu3>Mer1 Here

a few acotations:

-STR in wugushi is completly dispensable even before gem revamp elemental dmg is able to compensate for any lack of physycal attack in a way better manner than raw physical dmg.
-Jican Gu while it cant compare to the other poisons its quite usefull, not as a damage dealer (even thought its also another poison debuff) but because bugs can take the other monsters aggro for you while you keep killing them.
its a nice CC for when you have hordes of monsters comming for your head. leaving that clear wugushi 3 is mainly about empowering needle and gu.
-Wugushi by its own mechanics its not meant to be a MAIN class.

Wugushi is a DPS class with semi-long CD and no overheat. this means that while the enemy is being afected by poisons you have a open window on wich you can use anything freely while having free dmg from poisons. i see of no good reason to affect the dmg output you can get from other classes that can actually crit because a silly obsesion with overpowering the poisons. people tend to forget (because poison dmg is quite good) that the mechanic of posions make them more of a complementary skill than anything and that as your character progess you will more likely to meet new classes that most likely will be crit based.

I am lvl 100 A1>QS3 and going to Wu3>Mer1.My stats distribution STR 4:1 CON.Should i beggin investing on DEX now or create a new char?.
Hope my character is not going to waste :(.

You can skip wugu3 by taking rogue 1 to get 70% flat crit from sneak hit with werewolf card. So you can go full strength. Then maybe you can go hakka or mergen if you want to.

rogue will make up for the crit, but what can do about AOE?

Wuguushi has AOE if you combo it with Throw Pot gu ( Manticen Card) to instantaneously spread wugung gu poison.

Most people don’t know Throw pot gu is a true AoE skill, since it has no AoE limit.
