you will probably waste 2 potential on your gloves just to learn that monster gems are bugged and often cannot be inserted in secondary type of equipment.
In your example stoulet gem in theory can be inserted into weapon and gloves, but in practice it is only weapons - gloves will reject it.

Seriously IMC. I’ve got a hanaming gem waiting for action and I’m not gonna insert it into a weapon!

When i did a video of whats happens when you try to remove the gem - i couldnt insert Pawnd gem anywhere but weapon.
Tho i admit that i havent tested that extensively because that wasnt my objective. It might work.
