Wrong classes? cant decide on what to do

Hey ppl! i could use some help of experienced players…

right now i have a sword 1 pelt 1 hopl 1 lvl 64 and i dont know which class to pick…

id like to play some gvg/pvp and only some pve later on in the game and currently im thinking about two builds:

sword 1 pelt 1 hopl1 hopl 2 corsair 1 corsair 2 dragoon

or

sword 1 pelt 1 hopl 1 cata 1 cata 2 cata 3 dragoon

i know sword 3 is better for pvp/gvg but it is a pain to level up and this is my first character. And i also heard that a swordman without the taunt from the peltasta will have problems in the future to find level parties level 200+

Your second build is prime for what you’re trying to do. Cata3’s mobility is insane to get in and out of fights. Pelt1 is amazing for catas since the 25% HP buff on SwashB. supplements their companion boosted HP. Hop1 finestra for crit and block plus synergy from pelt1 guardian is good. You also get a bleed from pierce that scales off physical dmg if it procs. Solid boost of damage from goon1 to top it all off.

If you want you can drop hop1 to take swd2 for restrain to boost utility on cata3 rush. Then again if there’s a PD that idea goes out the window.
